Family run inn, simple and clean. Perfect location near good food, hiking and other things to do. Room was in great shape and had everything we needed — would recommend.

Stayed for a night, friendly staff (family business) and was caring enough to let me know where to eat close by and that I should go before it closes. Easy check in and out, if no one is at reception, the view of the harbour is well worth to sit and relax.Well equipped with kitchen needs, comfy bed, a fridge, and a balcony to enjoy the view. Good for longer stay, seems like a popular place for retiree in the area. There is parking on site, and only 2 restaurant within walking distance.

Very relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff! Beach is right across the road and it’s nice and tame so great for families. Room was tidy and even had air conditioning. My partner and I only stayed 1 night but we will definitely be coming back for a weekend sometime!

Terry is a great host. The rooms had great views of Tairua Harbour, they were well presented and clean with ample parking near the rooms.

Excellent view for Tairua beach, room was modern spacious and very comfortable, the bed was very good and no issues. Very quiet location, great for families in the estuary and chilling. Friendly host. Would highly recommend this spot!

Amazing stay, Terry was a great host, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The use of bikes and kayaks for free is also a great bonus. The room was modern spacious and very comfortable, the bed was very good and no issues. The area may have two of the better restaurants, the beach club and the old mill. Very quite location, great for families in the estuary and chilling in the arvo. Would highly recommend this spot!

Nice location with lovely views. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. The fresh milk for tea is a nice touch.
