Philippe's Patisserie
Surprisingly, my personal experience at the eatery was not satisfactory. On the positive side, the staff members were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a pleasant customer service experience. Additionally, the coffee I ordered was decent in terms of taste. However, there were significant drawbacks. The cake I had was clearly leftover and disappointingly dry, which in my opinion, should not have been served to customers.

The interior design feature here has got my attention firstly .The old pieces plus new stuff works well.The tile paved on entrance floor and also some on kitchen wall,The kitchen shelve, the old bench desk second hand cabinetry, the old wood fire frame and the new concrete curve wall etc, all match comfortably well.I like sitting here for eating embraced by such nice atmosphere

Ordered a lamb pie, got home and found it was filled with only pumpkin (no lamb in sight). Bit disappointed. Even had letter 'L' carved onto the top so must have been a mixup.

Came by to grab some buns for a shared lunch. We grabbed a few different ones and there were so many to choose from. All sound interesting and tasty. The one I was interested in was the egg yolk bun and the taro one.Both were slightly disappointing. The filling was very thin and lacked flavour. The bread was nice but without the nice filling, it's just bread.
