Really wonderful grill restaurant, fantastic atmosphere the smoking rosemary as the steaks come out add a bit of theatre, Steaks were cooked fantasticly. Desserts great. Overall fantastic

Unfortunately the food isn't what it used it be. Not very tender and lacking flavor. Compared to when we went last time a few years ago and lost our minds over the delicious meat we couldn't get enough of..Staff were very friendly and had great service.

Although the food was great, we had to wait 45 minutes to be served and another 45 minutes for our food. I understand that it is necessary to train new individuals in the kitchen, however this should not compromise on the wait times or the service. Essentially we were left to our own devises for the duration of our meals which did not make it enjoyable or a good experience.

We had high hopes for Little Savanna after hearing such great reviews. Unfortunately our experience did not live up to the hype. We came here for our birthday dinner.We ordered the Chicken Espedata ($45), the Hot smoked salmon with lime ($18), and the Panko crumbed goats cheese balls ($18).We waited 45-50 minutes for our meal whilst the tables around us were being served, even though they ordered after us. I appreciate that they were extremely busy, but a little communication as to the ETA of our meal would have been nice. We felt a bit forgotten.Overall the meal was ok. The salmon was over-cooked. Similarly, some of the chicken was tough and dry, and the espedata was too oily for our liking- the ‘crispy’ onions were soggy with oil. The panko balls were full of flavour though- a definite highlight.Our waiter was very friendly and approachable. We were each given a complimentary dessert because it was our birthday, which we very much appreciated.Given the reputation of this restaurant, I believe we caught them on a bad day. Regardless, i do feel disappointed considering this restaurant is definitely on the pricier side.

Bring back the old Portlander.- what has happened!! New door entry badly positioned, freezing when anyone came through door! Food was very average. Way-too much salt! And there was not a smile to be had in any of the wait staff! Even the host staff were very sour! Not a pleasant experience!

I had the best steak I have ever had with the lake ohau scotch wagyu steak. The dark garlic butter was amazing. Our waiter was extremely knowledge and nice and showed us the menu and helped us pick out some great cuts of meat. The white truffle fries were amazing as well.

Food was okay a bit average for the price. Service was a little on the slow side to be seated and have our orders taken. Atmosphere - well there was no atmosphere quite boring and dead

Service was average to say the least, my dish was cold and had to be reheated and came back luke warm. This used to be my favourite place to go to and now I am embarrassed that I have sung its praises to so many people

By far my favourite place to dine in the Wynyard Quarter/viaduct. The food is exquisite (the tuna tartare and the baby back ribs will change your life), drinks are cold and replenish your soul. To top it off, the incredible Co (he has the greatest gift of the gab and is the crown jewel of Aucklands hospo industry) along with the rest of the team offer the best customer service in the city. We're always looked after when we go to Winnie Grill. Bonus points for the tasty and great priced lunch deals, Friday fish and chips are a perfect end to the working week.

So happy to see a Vegan option in the little food court on K Rd.They even have gluten free options. Lovely service, clean looking kitchen and place they operate in too.The vegan options are delicious and the lady was so friendly.The sizzling tofu dish was delicious.
