Best custard slice we’ve ever tasted. Properly made strong coffee too… super friendly service, gutted it’s our last day in town else we’d come here every day. The dessert cabinet is the stuff of dreams

Has a great range of salmon products at reasonable prices. The hot smoked salmon are the best.Outside the cafe, kids (and adults as well) can grab some fish food to feed the salmon.

Nice beef nachos for me, and too many wedges for my wife to get through on her own.Very enjoyable meal, and handy to the outdoor furniture shop if you're interested in quality woodworking.

I ordered coffee & cheesecake, they served the cake very hot, i tasted, then stopped eating, I went to the counter asking why it taste very off/ spoiled? She said it was in the fridge for more than a week, and moreover, she microwaved it. The cake might look perfectly fine after a week in the fridge, but it's no longer safe to eat. The expired cheesecake, which I only tasted, made my stomach cramps, I had nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. From the comments I have read after the bad experience, the cafe staff serve stale food without fear or shame.

Ti Tree Cafe
The only place in Waihi with a private outdoor courtyard is a huge plus on a sunny day. The BEST coffee in town hands down. Exceptional brunches, love the cabinet salad options and the cakes and slices are on point.The staff have a great understanding of food allergies and are happy to adapt menu items to suit your needs.If I have friends or family from out of town, TiTree is 100% our go to spot. 10/10 recommend

There are quite a few food outlets here including Ampersand, Brothers Beer and Saku Saku. There are a few spots in the front area but it is usually full.We stopped by for lunch at Ampersand and took a look around since we were here. There are a few shops around as well as a Farro supermarket. It's not very big but does have quite a few options for either eating or shopping.
