Great coffee about $5. Muffins and some squares offered. Fruit drinks and ice cream bars. Comfortable setting and the Irish host is delightful and energetic meeting guests.

We wondered where we should get some food and stumbled upon u and we started to twerk. Super nice place 10/10 would do absolutely do it again! Great food and really nice owners! And we got a smoothie bowl with the same color as an ogre, Good stuff!! Big plus was the dogs that came it really made everyone’s day! The birds and the beach are beautiful and slay! It really blew us away, we wish we could stay :)

Sacred Grounds Cafe Kawakawa Bay
Myself and 3 other cyclists stopped off there when cycling the TA on Friday 9 Dec. They were about to close up for the day but were more than happy to stay open, make coffees for us and allow us to use their facilities to refuel our bodies ahead of the climb out. They also gave us some cake and bar nibbles free of charge. The couple running this cafe are so friendly, cheerful I felt compelled to provide this feedback.

I was fortunate enough to book the AirBnB that is part of this coffee shop. What an absolute treat. Fabulous accommodation, amazing hosts, wonderful views and environment AND the smell and taste of great coffee and breakfast in the morning. I’ll definitely be back.

A brilliant little coffee shop in Kawakawa Bay. We called in today and enjoyed lovely coffee and muffins as well as a casual chat with the very friendly locals. The little coffee shop was very clean and tidy and there was a good choice of food. We will call again when passing through Kawakawa Bay. :-) :-)

I don't usually give 5 stars but the atmosphere, the people and the coffee was the best I have come across in a very long time.
