Ti Tree Cafe
The only place in Waihi with a private outdoor courtyard is a huge plus on a sunny day. The BEST coffee in town hands down. Exceptional brunches, love the cabinet salad options and the cakes and slices are on point.The staff have a great understanding of food allergies and are happy to adapt menu items to suit your needs.If I have friends or family from out of town, TiTree is 100% our go to spot. 10/10 recommend

Food Express Bakery n Cafe Whangamata
Service is slow. Visited 3 times and twice I've been left standing by the counter.Sausage rolls are a hit or miss.Gravy in the pies are a bit watery, not much depth in the flavour.Prices are a tad high, especially with drinks.

Unfortunately this place is over priced for basic fried foods. Portions are small and pricey. Wedges are $15 for a small amount. Pizza is $25 for a plain cheese pizza totally crazy. When I asked why the plain pizza was the same price as a meat lover's. The staff were rude and dismissive. I just cook them

Good earthy and old school food with flair and using notably good quality ingredients. Very good coffee. I went for a second LB on two occasions that I can recall while working in the area. Quieter than it deserves to be but all the more relaxing for the hungry punter or tradesman. Nice staff and mean egg n bacon savouries. Oops the secret's out...Keep up the good work.
