Movenpick Mission Bay
Came here quite late for dessert with friends on a week night. There isn't a lot of options for dessert in the late evening in Mission Bay so this basically is the only one. We sat indoors and I went for a hot dessert. Was this worth twenty dollars - for the portion? Not really. Taste was fine. Service was somewhat okay although they turned up the music so loud (are we trying to be a club?) while we were finishing our dessert that we couldn't even hear each other talk so we just left. Great location and selection of ice cream and other desserts is varied.

As others have said - the ice cream is great! However, i've caught myself wanting ice cream and avoiding this place purely because the fella that works there hates any sort of customer interaction. It always feels like we are a major interruption to his movie watching while at work. I've been here many times, and every time he acts like the mere concept of customers coming into the shop is enough to send him over the edge and hate everything about ice cream. Won't be going back anytime soon unless something changes which is unfortunate because it is such a nice little ice cream shop!

Duck island Ice Cream
The lady that was serving me was in the middle of taking my order and her coworker started talking to her and I was left mid sentence whilst they finish their conversation. This also happened to my friend who was served by the same person. The top scoop was also very small as the server was struggling to scoop it and just gave up. Please prioritise your customers over social conversations with coworkers, and try to be consistent with the scoop size.
