Beautiful place to paddle board. Stanley provided 10/10 service, the boards were good quality, it was fairly priced, and there were change rooms and showers. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. There's also a bus that stops right in front if you are travelling by public transport.

I stopped in while riding a recently purchased and professionally reassembled bike home that unfortunately had handlebars not tightened fully into place. They were very kind in helping me get the handlebars tightened, and were very gracious in doing so. We'll be back for sure. Thank you!

Having kite-surfed at other schools, we can confidently say our time learning at Groundswell was the most comprehensive to date. They made us feel immediately welcomed. It is re-assuring to see how serious they are on kite safety aspects. We have purchased kites and boards and it has been a pleasure dealing with them. Here is a very good shop for water sport with good price and nice service full of passion and patience. Thanks for Mike on many prompt feedback for my noisy questions over 15 e-mails about windsurfing board spec., stocks, kinds of freight, coming shipment for new board, warranty, kind notice on shipping and invoice......etc..I already got my new board with good packing from custom of Taiwan. I will place the 2nd order and recommend NZ sailing to my friends soon.

Brian and the team @ NZ Boardstore are simply the superstars of board sales! Took the time with me to assess what I was looking for/ out off a new surf board, gave great advise on options which had me purchase the right one for me at the right price.I just wish I could surf as good as their service is, but their advice has me having more fun, and improving with every session.
