Irish pub

This is an established hotel, so all facilities are old however, it is VERY comfortable and has everything you need ie fully equipped kitchen, choice of bath or shower and complete laundry facilities. The staff are welcoming and endeavour to make your stay enjoyable. The position of the hotel is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Would rate a zero but cant. We went as a group of 10 people for after work drinks, we had a good time and left to go to another bar, we had one drink at outback bar and went back to shenanigan's and just as we were about to walk in one of our managers was dragged out for being to intoxicated yet he had only had 3 drinks. The staff were mistaken, rude and violent. As a group we couldn't understand why our manager was treated so badly. Unacceptable behaviour from the rude violent staff.

We come here often. I've brought my entire family of 10, and they really enjoyed all their meals, didnt wait very long for them, service was medium, great ambiance. Great value for money.On other occasions, we have had the chef come out to talk with us and ask our opinion on the menu, that was really cool, that the chefs would get the customers views..In the past 2 years, i've been dining here at least 8 x and each time has been great. Not once have I had a negative experience. Its a shame this place is behind all the other restaurants.I think lone star which is at the front is over rated, and prices are too high! I'd go to O'Ryans over lone star anyday~

We had a very large group for several evenings. They really hustled to take care of us.

I drank all kinds of beer, and the beer tastes really good. Joey the bartender is so sweet and kind. And the music selection is really good.

This is a $12 salad being sold for $22. Get it sorted Doolans Brother's, this is New market you can't get away with amateur food when you're charging premium prices.

Just went there for a drink, bartender was knowledgeable and enough people to have a nice atmosphere

A really nice Irish pub with some of the best Guinness I've had outside Ireland! Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, welcoming staff, and some inventive cocktails.

Classic Irish pub with a touch of Art Deco (compulsory in Napier, the Art Deco Capital). I had my favourite Guinness and a very tasty Guinness Beef Cheek, beef cheek braised with a rich Guinness gravy and sides. Well priced, the service is careful and very nice. Recommended!

The staff are great, from management to chef's. Good family vibe. Had baby shower there, ladies did there thing, gas bagged, games etc. Guys well the adult thing, talk pu-kax and got rotten lol.
