Some of these reviews are ludicrous , it’s true this place was horrible when we brought it my wife and I along with our daughter have worked 7 days a week for 6 years to renovate and remake . I recognise the names of the horrible things they have said they don’t mention speeding around the motel endangering innocent kids on holiday , removing batteries from smoke alarms again endangering everyone in the building next to them . If the above dribble puts of reckless stupid ignorant people from staying great . Our main customers are repeat we don’t bother or ask them for reviews seeing them back is all we need for all the internet bullies and fib tellers keep driving

We stayed here for three nights to be closer to the AUT Millennium. Room was tidy tho the bathroom had a bad odour. Had a good sleep as it’s very quiet at night and had enjoyed Op shopping too. If you’re like me than this is the place to stay as theres about four Op shops in walking distance.

Good place to overnight stay. Nice clean accommodation. Bit road noisy with trucks on highway

Super convenient stop over before tackling Hump Ridge Track! Clean & spacious, lovely big communal kitchen & eating area. Great place to sort our packs before hiking.

Loved our stay here. We got one of the cabins right next to the lake. Definitely worth the extra cost! Amazing sunsets over the lake and can walk out the back door onto the beach.

Very nice campsite. Park-like with big trees. Great facilities. Because I didnt book there was no-one in reception but there was a number to ring and everything was arranged over the phone.

Not clean...blankets smell and look dirty, mouldy toilet, dust everywhere. Looks like it hasn't had a good clean ever. Seats had stains and marks on, also looks like they have never been cleaned. Looks nothing like the pictures advertised. Walls and windows had dirty marks on, pretty much dirty all round.

We arrived late on a cold night and the staff were really accommodating by leaving our room warmed up & open for us. Didn't need to check in. It was clean and nicely presented but small. There was a 2 ring stove top which would've been a bonus but we couldn't boil eggs on it as it wouldn't heat up. Thought the room was a bit expensive in comparison to other rooms we've stayed in recently. However we still had a great stay.

Haven't stay there yet, but the photo looks nice. Plus I think the boss is a bit of a hottie, so the place must be good!!!! I shall give a real rating next time after I stay there for real, so stay tuned haha!
