Great little place! Large comfortable rooms with everything you need. Gorgeous views, and nice country gardens. Loved the alpacas too!

Great views and atmosphere. Immaculate rooms and best shower in NZ. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Superb accommodation at a terrific price. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely wonderful here. My wife and I stopped by extremely short notice (none). The rooms were warm, clean, quiet and have gorgeous views of the mountains (Snow capped at that time).Thanks very much, would happily stay here again.

After 2 days being stranded in Haast and missed my flight back to Malaysia due to very bad weather and road closure, I drove all the way from Haast together with my mom and found this motel by chance. I instantly love this beautiful motel! The view is so spectacular, with the distant snow-capped mountains in the background, horses, a few white alpacas (or llama?) and chickens. It is located right next to the Tranz Alpine train line. The motel owner, Louise, is a very friendly and kind-hearted person. The room is very cozy and exceed my expectation. Too bad I can only spend one night at this wonderful accommodation. If I've got a chance to visit NZ again, I will surely stopped by this place. Recommended!

Very clean good value. Spa pool.

We were lucky to end up at this place on our journey from the west coast back to the east coast. Came with no notice in the evening and the host was super friendly. Tranquil setting with a big garden and amazing views. Will be great for kids, too I reckon. Very clean , nice and tidy room. Wheel chair accessible unit.

Driving home to Hokitika , road was closed due to snow . Amazing Hosts , warm environment . I would recommend it to anyone who is looking in the Springfield area .
