Serviced accommodation

We stayed here for three nights to be closer to the AUT Millennium. Room was tidy tho the bathroom had a bad odour. Had a good sleep as it’s very quiet at night and had enjoyed Op shopping too. If you’re like me than this is the place to stay as theres about four Op shops in walking distance.

Loved our stay here. We got one of the cabins right next to the lake. Definitely worth the extra cost! Amazing sunsets over the lake and can walk out the back door onto the beach.

I can't speak highly enough of Mangawhai Chalets! The accommodation is beautiful, lovingly looked after by the hosts and kept spotlessly clean. The amenities are all well stocked and provisioned. The location is also excellent, just a 2 min walk from Wood St and its shops and eateries.Linda and Stewart themselves were the most wonderful hosts, who made our whole family feel incredibly welcome. We'd had a tough week the week before and they took wonderful care of us, and were tremendous with our kids - happily taking them in hand to walk around the gardens and look for Bailey, the resident cat, and admire the beautiful flowers.We left feeling like different people, and just can't wait to go back!

Best cleanest room iv ever stayedThis by far is my favourite and I will be back! No pool or spa but who cares when you get a super clean super pretty comfy roomThe stuff are polite and very attendingI will be back it will be my first choice as I have stayed at a lot off hotels including the cordis. and that’s meant to be better but I’m in-love with this hotel also best location note however is paid parking but who cares reallyThank you for a great stay and can’t wait to come back. :)

A stay I would rather forget. Got there in the afternoon and no one there to book me in. Waited. Still no one so I went to work.Apparently there is a two hour wait time for this. Funny, they didn't even know what time I pulled up, so how could they know how long I was there. Got back from work and told which room. Next day apparently wrong room. Yes, shifted...at 11.30am. I was there for two hours before they noticed! As I took a trailer, they showed me a place to park my car out of the road. Get back from work...park gone. OK, make my own park...oh wait, i cant even turn around, the bus is in the road! I could go on, but it was definitely a forgetable stay. Pity they treat there own race like dirt...

Miserable weather and the staff were lovely. Meals were timely and readable priced if a little basic. Very country feel and worth a stop. Had warm pies in cabinet which was a nice touch.

Hi team. I didn't get a chance to stay at the property but had an odd experience that I am so greatful for. I booked 2 rooms recently through booking.com but found out it was on a wrong location. It was non refundable if cancelled or if something happened in between. I reached out to the owners of Alhambra Oaks and they graciously and considerately understood my circumstances. You guys made my day. Thank you so much. Definitely going to choose Alhambra Oaks if in Dunedin and will tell friends and family. I know the team is honest with their business and looks after their clients over and beyond.
