Kahoe Farms Hostel - BBH
I stayed here for 3 nights in October 2022 while riding my bicycle to Kaitaia to start my Te Araroa.It's everything other guests say it is and more. I wish I could stay here forever!Thank you Lyndsay and Stefano for your hospitality.

This farm stay is simply wonderful! Lyndsey welcomes you with open arms into her gorgeous kauri farmhouse, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. From there you could spend days exploring locally, I only had 2 days but can't wait to go back for longer to do the local walks and enjoy the deck and garden. Haven't had such a happy stay for a while! Totally recommend.

We’ve had an amazing stay at Lyndsey and Stefano’s place ! They both are very welcoming and gave us good advices about the things to do near their place.It’s very well located when traveling from Bay of Islands to Cape Reinga.Their place is charming : well decorated, clean and cozy ! The quality of the place largely worths the price.Last but not least : both the home-made pizzas and breakfast we had were delicious !Thanks Lyndsey and Stefano !

So many good memories. Stefano is an incredible host. Euro 2012 was amazing. Driving with James white Subaru, making fun of Josie saying ˋˋcalificornicationˋˋ. Just legendary mate. Working out in the shed, playing fifa and so on…take care!

We were lucky to have 5 nights at this beautiful place just now. Lyndsey and Stefano's hospitality is wonderfully warm and welcoming. Stefano made us his excellent pizza, two of them gluten free for our coeliacs! They were delicious. Our kids would have loved to stay longer as there is plentiful to explore and we will definitely be back!!!

Just one night unfortunately but we'd love to come back. Very friendly and welcoming and everything beautifully prepared for us. We had dinner (and dessert!) and the meal Stefano made was actually better than the meal we had at a fancy" restaurant in Whangarei"

Amazing 1870’s cottage set back about to 1km from main road, is a lovely addition to the main house where visitors stay. We loved the peace of the cottage - beautiful old gardens and the interior was like a time capsule. The kitchen is well equipped. We particularly loved the outside verandas in the peak of the sun.Loved the hospitality of Lyndsay and her Italian husband Stefano. They have been welcoming guests for 30 years. We didn’t try S’s menu but it was impressive and shows their passion for looking after guests well.This place is a real treasure and we chanced across it last minute.

Thank you Lyndsey and Stefano for the warmest welcome to your lovely farm stay. The host are incredibly friendly and the morning pancakes were yummy! This place is beyond a hostel. The house is stunning with a large kitchen and dining area. Bathroom was clean. The rooms are spacious and come with lovely finishing touches. I can’t fault the stay. Would definitely return in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone who’s visiting. Thank you both once again for sharing your space with me.

Lyndsey and Stefano were the absolute perfect hosts, as good as anyone could ask for. We needed urgent accommodation at the start of the year due to the storm that was coming through and they were able to sort us out for a same day stay. Aside from this, the hospitality was amazing and made sure we felt at home. I would absolutely recommend getting a round of Stefano's pizza. It was genuinely some of the better pizza I have ever had, even better than what you can get at most restaurants. Will definitely try come back sometime.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Such attention to detail, beautifully presented and comfortable. Wish I'd had the chance to eat here as Stefano's pasta and pizza menu was superb.
