Myself and 10 other friends booked a 12-seat Toyota Hiace Minibus for a trip to the mountain, Taupo and surrounds.I had an excellent interaction with Anthony who was extremely helpful from the get-go, very efficient, had great communication and helped a lot. In future I will definitely be using CCR Palmerston North!

Fu****g rude staff wouldn't bother trying to rent a car from them

What you save on price, you pay for with time, stress and poor quality vehicles. Upon collection, the truck we requested had been rented elsewhere. After a 1.5 hour wait we ended up with a truck that we didn't initially choose (all the automatics had been rented). Although some members of staff were helpful and apologetic, the truck we finally received was covered in scratches, dents and the tail lift only worked intermittently. Whilst waiting for our issue to be solved, the waiting room was full of other people with complaints or issues.In the vehicle we finally received, the air con and radio did not work so it was actually easier to drive 1000ks to Christchurch with the windows down.. Upon returning our vehicle to the Christchurch depot, our return time of 10am was also the time another customer was due to collect the truck. It was in no fit state to be rented out straight away (it had, by this point, a flat tyre) which shows some further flaws in the u-save systems.Whilst it did fulfil our requirements, our experience was not without additional stress, worry and logistical issues caused by the booking system at u-save Auckland Airport. If you can, we'd really recommend paying a little more for security and peace of mind elsewhere.

Not recommended! Dirty, unsafe 2006 Toyota Hi-ace van provided for a 7 day booking Wellington to Auckland?!!! We ended up returning the van 3 hours later as we didn’t feel safe and worst they refuse to give any refund for the $2,000 paid amount!!!

Lee was really helpful when it comes to pick up and drop off. They give instructions for every simple things so nothing can go wrong. I hired a small truck and it was really helpful when moving houses. You get the best service what you paid for.

Queenstown Airport - The booking was easy, the car (Corolla) was in good condition with all the dings and scratches expected from a second hand vehicle that ended up in a budget rental yard, but I have a problem with the attitude of the agent when returning the car. They found" a new chip on the windscreen and first thing was to tell me that is going to be $80

Used a truck they take pictures before and after you return i think it is good way to protect both yourself and them.The price on website was less than what you actually end up paying after they add kilometers and GST.

Need a van to move people, or goods? Or a truck? Tail-lift? Rob is the man to see. The most tidy and well detailed vans and trucks in HB. The cleanest ive ever seen in a rental vehicle.
