It was our 2nd time to visit, the menu has been changed already, which means they are trying to be better:) we ordered Jeju Tangerine Makgeolli, it was so good.If you see only the price, it seems to be expensive, but if you can see good quality of charcoal and basically Wagyu is very expensive, you can think the price is fairly understandable.This time we ordered oyster blade, short ribs and intercoastal. All of them were so good, especially we loved short ribs. If you don't like fatty one, oyster blade should be better option.Beef tataki and tartare were also good, especially nori( seaweed) tempura served with tartare was amazing.Matcha ice cream and black sesame ice cream was also great.

Nice food. We had two combos and some sides. Fried chicken is nice, crispy outside and juicy inside. Beefs are great too. Worth the money spent

Delicious food using proper charcoal. Meat was so tender, nice flavour. Fun and tasty cooking on hibachi. I will come back and try more food. Front of house seems bit of lucking on communication but very nice staffs. I guess its a new place and still progressing. Highly recommend to try the food.

Meat was so tender! Sashimi was so fresh and thick cut! Tempura was nice too! Staff was friendly and proactive. Food came to our table pretty quick after we have ordered.Will definitely go back again. Highly recommended!!

I visited there during my travel. I was a little worried because I was alone, but I didn't really need to. The staff were so friendly and nice and the food was amazing! The meat literally melted in my mouth!!!It was the best experience in Christchurch. Highly recommend for those who want to treat themselves with high quality food!!

This is my second time visiting. Very cool place, with quality ingredients and service. Their set menu is easy to start and get more food if you need. Hibachi charcoal is great experience you need to try.

Back for second time for dinner after first time at lunch few weeks ago. We love both menus. Thank you for lovely food and professional services. Your restaurant is unique and special. It’s the gem of Christchurch. Highly recommended!

The decorations was good, food was good, price and portion size are bit a joke, and the worst of all, the service we received was ridiculous. When u spend over $100 per person on a meal, sorry, there really isn’t gonna be a lot room to tolerate mistakes. We order two of the most expensive set menus, both include side dishes, rice, soup and other stuff, however, by the time our meat was already on the grill, there hadn’t been any dipping sauce served, we first thought this was intentional, or there never meant to be any sauce since it’s all high grade wagyu beef, but then we asked, it turned out to be a mistake, and it didn’t stop there, they again, forgot to serve our rice, kimchi and soup when we already finished our meat, I mean how did they expect us to eat the rice then? I believe none of this was on purpose, but it seemed there was a great deal of negligence and miscommunication in their service system, which really harmed our dining experience, and all we got in the end was some verbal apologies. This was really unprofessional.

Went here with my partner for dinner today and we had an incredible time, we ordered the Kobe set, which was fairly reasonably priced considering the 80g of A5 wagyu that came with it. The service was amazing, and very attentive. Even though we took almost 2 and a half hours to get through all the food we were never made to feel unwelcome.Attached some pictures below. Would highly recommend for anyone with a love of Japanese food or good beef

Absolutely delicious meal it was. Me and my mate had dinner at Hibachi and we both were quite impressed with whole experience and taste. It was good to see something different in Christchurch too. Whole having charcoal bbq infont of you was very warming and cozy experience especially this cold time of season.Meats were juicy and literally melts in your mouth! A5 wagyu and ribs were my favorites. I would definitely recommend this place!
