Bartending school

I did the one-day bread making course and loved it. The course leader, Ralf, was a fount of baking knowledge that he imparted throughout the day. I came away with enough baked goods to justify the course cost! Great facilities and epic location.

Learnt over 10 cocktails and made my own. Had tons of fun and even set up the bar. Overall an amazing course and I will try it again!

Great fun, learnt a lot and a good starting course for anyone interested in the industry. Would recommend, teachers are highly skilled and have great contacts for future jobs too.

I did the cafe attendant course through my school, and it was fantastic. It really taught a lot of techniques that I can apply to a lot of hospitality, and there was a good balance of practical and theory. Teacher was very experienced and friendly, and the facilities were clean and in a great location.

I have both a great review & a criticism. Unfortunately to ensure that the review is given the weight needed, I'm placing it at '1 star'. The positive aspect of the review is purely acknowledgement of Tee's practice & instructing of the Bartending course. The criticism is for the owners / administrators of the Barista Academy.An amazing course and one I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get into any space within the hospitality industry. Tee is a great teacher and passionate instructor. He made the class very welcoming, smooth and an fun-atmosphere - particularly with the music which was on point.As for the administrators / owners of this company, this was not the case. I did not appreciate the unprofessionalism of their administrative dealings. Despite having paid for this course well in advance, I was emailed by one of the owners who demanded whether I was still keen to participate in the course. There was no professionalism or sincere thought put in their email. Although I felt very frustrated and angry with this email, I responded with poise, even providing a screenshot of the payment. The administrator/owner (Rachel) did not provide me the courtesy of an apology or anything, which was clearly an error on her part. If you're under the pump with work, I recommend hiring someone who can manage these administrative tasks with ease. This saves you from attacking" or "alleging" that customers are not diligent when in fact it is a fault you failed to take on board.So aside from this unfortunate experience

This was a great course. I had an awesome time. We learnt a lot in the 3 days and had lots of hands on practice to get familiar with the bartending techniques. The teachers were very good, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend anyone to take this course. :)

I can’t pinpoint what my fav part of the whole course was, I guess I liked all the new knowledge I was receiving, of how it was more of a practical course, ect.It was fun and enjoyableI would highly recommend it

Absolutely it was the fabulous course with amazing and professional teacher. When i started i even could not imagine how the world of cocktails is big and beautiful. Really proud of being with the great team of Barista Academy where got amazing knowledge of bar tending. It will be the best for my business to go with Drinks.
