I went to the Wellington hospital for a clinic visit. They are still masking up in order to protect the patients and staff inside the hospital. The masks are free, as is the hand sanitizer at the door of the hospital. The atrium is big with lots of head-space. It even has a grand piano towards the escalator and sometimes have live music playing. The wards are accessible by a set of lifts to the right side of the atrium. There is also an out-patient's clinic going up the escalator. As far as things to buy for patients, there's a sjop to buy flowers in this space and a food shop further to the back of this space. If you get lost there is always the help desk to refer to, which is staffed by helpful, friendly staff members.

Parking was shocking at 10.30am on my appointed day, had to park up Mein Street and had to continually ask directions to ENT outpatients. I hold a Mobility Parking Coupon supposedly to make it easier for parking in most circumstances but couldn't find a Mobility Park anywhere in the hospital confines and being mobility challenged and not able to walk any great distance I found it to be a challenge to go from one side of the hospital to the other. There were LOTS of empty parks around for hospital staff but all illegal for the public to park in, what do you do? Throw your hands up, park illegally to make your appointment and get a ticket for your effort, I add that there were a number of cars ticketed while we were there.ĺ

I worked for these guys and have nothing but praise for this amazing company, they gave me most of my best memories in NZ. I did the Siberia Wilderness Extended trip and it far exceeded all expectations, it was the perfect way to experience some beautiful raw and untouched scenery with a dose of adrenaline thrown in. All of the staff are really genuine and funny people and add to the authentic kiwi experience. Some of the other touristy activities I did such as Milford and the glow worms were really very impressive but I personally don't like the crowds of other tourists, Makarora is a hidden gem without being too busy with others. When in the Siberia valley you will feel like the only person there which makes it so peaceful. The jetboat is equally as thrilling as the helicopters, the pilots and boat drivers are all extremely skilled. The only bad thing you may have to endure is the pilot's jokes!
