Helicopter charter

It was a great experience. Not only did we have fantastic weather we had a fantastic pilot (Dylan) who really looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and secure at all times. It was a magical experience that we would happily even repeat!! worth every penny.

What an Amazing Experience. Down to earth, easy to deal with and a top bloke. Thank you Mark for the Hunt drop off and pickup all went 100% with a Hunt of a life time for me my son and a couple of mates. Then to top it off, Whisky at Bad Decisions Bar the Highest Whisky bar in the world at 7000 feet and then round to Mt Cook. We will be Back.

Mark was able to accommodate us on almost no notice and he made our dreams come true! This experience was breathtaking and informative. We got to see the mountains and glaciers up close and even got to land on top of one and share a glass of whisky at The Bad Decision. Would definitely recommend booking with McKenzie Helicopters!

What started out as a surprise birthday treat for our daughter ended up being an adventure and memory our family will cherish. Shamus's warm welcome and passion for flying is infectious so we were immediately relaxed by his attention to detail with safety. The knowledge and stories he passed in were an added treat

Had an amazing time flying back to Queenstown from Milford Sounds. Our pilot was very competent, and so relaxed it made me feel at ease throughout the trip. We got to see some stunning sights and a quick play in the snow on our mountain landing. Being a bit of a nervous flyer, I wasn't sure what to expect from my first time in a helicopter, but it felt so stable and I felt safe the whole way. Absolutely worth it!

We had the most incredible time here! You start by choosing the piece of jade that calls to you, followed by sanding the piece into your desired shape. You can use the burr to carve in a pattern then you finish with polishing. The hosts will then take your piece and finish it into a bracelet or necklace or whatever final piece you desire! Aside from some light guidance, the whole process is up to you! Definitely a must-do when in Franz Josef!

Went of the Heli - Cruise - Heli with Glacier Southern Lakes and had the most amazing time. From start to finish was well looked after by the team and Stu the pilot shared his knowledge of the area with us. He even took some photos while we were on the glacier that turned out great! The cruise once we landed in Milford with Southern Discoveries was also amazing and the change over between companies was so easy and we were told where to be and when. Highly recommend this package for anyone coming to Queenstown as it really highlights all the must sees for Queenstown and Milford. Plus the whole trip only took 4 hours so had time to squeeze in other activities before hand ☺️

From a spur of the moment booking to an amazing experience. An NZ owned business that has true NZ hospitality. All staff were so friendly and chatty with a good laugh. The van ride to and from the helicopter was a great part. The glacier landing was so much fun and a great photo taken by the pilot. We will be back to take a longer flight. I can not sing their praises more, thanks team.

Jane was absolutely amazing. She took us through the intricacies of carving, helped us select stones, and we were able to take away our finished product. What a great session. Everyone should do it.

I recently arranged a surprise flight for my wife who had never had the chance to fly in a helicopter.
