Golden Bay Air
An excellent and handy way to get to and from the Heaphy Track. We took a shuttle from Nelson to Brown Hut to start the walk and then a shuttle to Karamea and flight back to Nelson afterwards. The weather didn't look too good for flying but turned out to be just good enough to get us on our way. The team had a back up plan for us just in case which helped put our minds at ease. Really appreciated the friendly and helpful support from the team. The flight back to Nelson over the Karamea River was a real highlight after a long walk.

We booked a charter flight from Karamea back to Brown hut after completing the Heaphy track. Craig was very easy to communicate with and most accomodating with what we requested. He met us at the airport in Karamea and explained that Sam would fly us back. During the flight we had a very smooth take off and Sam pointed out various landmarks before a very smooth landing.The airport was a wee distance from Brown hut , Sam drove us back to the hut. This was all included in the quoted price. Well done Air Karamea Sam and Craig !!

Fantastic service. I flew from Tākaka to Wellington. Was lucky to be in the cockpit and be able to be a flying nerd with the wonderful pilot. The whole process from booking to destination was easy and enjoyable. Could not recommend this enough

Adventure Flights Golden Bay
We did the Abel Tasman scenic flight and it was amazing! We loved seeing all around the national park, it’s absolutely unlike anything we’ve seen before - so beautiful! Mit is a great pilot/tour guide, a real pro at what he does. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
