Golden Bay Air
An excellent and handy way to get to and from the Heaphy Track. We took a shuttle from Nelson to Brown Hut to start the walk and then a shuttle to Karamea and flight back to Nelson afterwards. The weather didn't look too good for flying but turned out to be just good enough to get us on our way. The team had a back up plan for us just in case which helped put our minds at ease. Really appreciated the friendly and helpful support from the team. The flight back to Nelson over the Karamea River was a real highlight after a long walk.

We had a beautiful drive from Marahau to Nelson today. Our driver Anne gave us local recommendations and delivered us to our hostel door. Thank you for a great experience

Great service. Went the extra mile sorting out gas, extra gear, and a 360 degree circle over a place of interest We had a great trip with Golden Air. Nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic service. I flew from Tākaka to Wellington. Was lucky to be in the cockpit and be able to be a flying nerd with the wonderful pilot. The whole process from booking to destination was easy and enjoyable. Could not recommend this enough

GB Air arranged our pick up from the end of the track, a shuttle over the hill, a rental car, and flights back to Nelson. So convenient to have it all arranged by friendly efficient locals who know what works. Tyler and Ann were awesome!

Look - you can't get a nicer airline or more scenic flight if you want to get from Golden Bay to Welly fast (vice versa)! Their staff are wonderful and so accommodating, they have waited for me turning up at literally the last minute and still made their flight on time, they have transported my 4 cats on the plane, they are always up trying to help you out or answer any questions. You want to visit Golden Bay? You should consider Golden Bay Air to get here and avoid the Tākaka Hill. This airline is a godsend for our small remote community and I give them 5 stars any day!

we really enjoyed our flights to and from Wellington from Takaka. The flight is convenient and means we did not have to travel by car to Nelson to start out trip away. The flight is very scenic and i think worth the price; an awesome experience

We took a shuttle from nelson to the abel tasman park, and back. We were picked up at our hostel and dropped off at the water taxi. Great service, amazing driver, and interesting information on the environment, tips and recommendations, during our trip!

We loved our scenic highlights flight with Tyler. The office at Takaka arranged it at short notice and flight out to farewell spit and the top end of Abel Tasman was perfect. Tyler was very professional and informative.
