THE. BEST. RAMEN.Everything was so good!!! I am still quite newbie in the ramen game but so far this place is the best ramen place I’ve been in Auckland!!! Plus the chef is such a delight, you can see him preparing your ramen for you!!

Miyabi Japanese Restaurant
Very friendly staff who have done their best, but food and cramped conditions not up to scratch. Chicken tasted old, and noodles so salty I could not finish even half the dish.Husband had the chicken curry, which was identical to $4 supermarket curry but was mostly rice and almost $30.So cramped inside that 10 people had to get out of their seats (and move outside) so that one person could push through the crowd to go to the loo. Staff should not overbook like that if people can't physically fit into the restaurant.

I like the food from Hikari but my last order of vegetable tempura sushi on UberEats was a bit disappointing. It took over an hour to prepare and when it finally arrived, the tempura was rather soggy and had no katsu sauce.

The food is excellent, sashimi is fresh and firm. Set menus are on the expensive side ($40+) but they give you quality produce and generous sizing in return.

Great food, reasonable prices, fantastic service. We don't live in Dunedin but always make a point of stopping here if we are coming through. Best Korean food around.

I had a divine meal here enjoying the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had. We had a donut for dessert which we ended up taking away, this was also divine even if there was too much vanilla custard. Shame about the service but there was a sign displayed in the restaurant warning us about the shortage of staff. I would definately go back.

Tokyo Garden Restaurant
Had I seen the reviews to this restaurant I may have not gone. Therefore, I am glad that I did not read them before hand. We tried the Teppan Pork and the Chicken Bento Box. The bento box comes with miso soup. It was a very generous portion as it was very filling and delicious, the chicken was full of flavor. The miso soup was one of the best I have ever had. I amnoy sure if it was due to the chili oil I added but could have certainly had more. My husband had the Teppan Pork and really enjoyed it. It was just the right amount of food.
