I couldn't more highly recommend this school. It may be small, but it is mighty! Providing an excellent education to all of its students, allowing each student to grow at their own pace, with excellent academic results. Lots of opportunities, including Kapa Haka, Pips gardening, science and sports. The teachers and staff are all wonderful with the children and get to know each child's individual needs.

It's a cool place to go and if yr maori there's a class for u to learn more maori

We are really pleased with the progress our child is making with Kate. He is really enthusiastic about his weekly sessions. Highly recommend to anyone concerned about their child's confidence or progress with reading.

STAC is not that of a good school, if your paying top dollar for STAC you are wasting your money and should consider going to another school. STAC is VERY over rated and pretty trash

Better than AJHS or ASHS, go here even if you live far away go here or Rangitoto.

This is a great Intermediate school In an urban setting.Lovely grounds , friendly staff and plenty of options for young children wanting to learn.

The Pohutukawa Bilingual Villa is a wonderful school with a warm whanau feeling to it as soon as you walk through the doors. Small class sizes facilitated by inspirational teachers. Engaging, relevant topics and learning for my daughter to do. The school buildings are small but they utilise the many sporting, natural and recreational facilities surrounding them, so the students have more opportunities to engage with the community. My daughter and niece catch 2 buses to get to school. It’s well worth the travel as they’re happy and eager to go to school everyday. He mihi mahana tenei ki nga kaiako o te kura nei.
