Sushi restaurant

A beautiful space with delicious sushi. Everything is presented so thoughtfully, and the staff are super friendly as well.

If you are looking for a restaurant. This is not one. It is more like a sushi shop and you just eat on the tables they provided. We tried to order the braised pork and the korean bulgogi beef donburi but they ran out" by 12.30pm which is kinda weird. Anyway

Surprisingly found this lovely Japanese style restaurant.Not only wild selection of Sushi they are selling, Ramen, Dumplings, Rice Bawls are also on their menuPrices are friendlyFoods are deliciousI ordered the crispy squid at the end it was fantastic!Highly recommended.

Very busy place so expect waiting but staff is polite and friendly. I tried Mochi first time. It's like a dumpling filled with different flavors and cream.

Went here twice in once day to get my husband food (it's not gluten free so I couldn't eat it.)Purchased 3 pieces of sushi that looked very unique. They are $1.60 a piece.- Fried onion with fresh avocado- Two mini lumpia- Fried fishcake (weren't sure if it was fish or rice cake.)Husband enjoyed it so much that we came back and got him a katsu noodle bowl for $12.50.This is located in the Capital Market so you can eat it here or take it to go. He had the sushi to go and the bowl at the market.Visited February 2023

Standard mall sushi experience. Bit quieter than the others in the mall as its upstairs tucked away from the usual busy food court making it easy to find a seat. Sushi is not bad (though I was surprised when I tasted the katsu on rice and it had bbq sauce on it instead of the usual tonkotsu! Not particularly bad but not what I wanted or expected). The 'hot' cabinet food is almost always luke warm to cold rather than hot and fresh but still decent tasting enough. All in all not bad for a quick and cheap lunch but you can find better if you're wanting good fresh sushi.

The food, whether bento or soba is always very very yummy. Ingredients are generous, fresh, tasty and hearty. A huge hug for the hungry tum tum! Highly recommended.

the sushi is way overpriced compared to the Lower Hutt store. There’s so selection and the sushi is much smaller. The sushi was hard and seemed like it had been there for hours (this was at 11am). Lower Hutt it’s the one to go for if you’re wanting good sushi and great katsu
