Friendly owners, on our way to Sumner we decided to try this new restaurant, ordered a Jyu and a Bendo. Surprised by the variety of ingredients in each box, especially love the freshly cooked crispy pork katsu, best in town! Salmon sushi used Akaroa salmon, with creamy and nutty avocado. Everything is so fresh and balanced flavor. Definitely will back here again!

Authentic Japanese bento box and samon box. The special bento box comes with grilled fish, grilled chicken, pork katsu, spicy bean sprouts, potato salad, some fish cakes and sweet dango for dessert.The Salmon was very fresh and tasty too.We will come back again.

The freshest ingredients and the most delicious bento we have had (including all over Japan). Authentic homemade pickles and sauces! The owners are lovely and hospitable. We will be back again and again!

It was very nice food, well presented as they do in Japan, great staff, nice small place. Good for families etc. i will recommend this place for bento bowl and such. There were ready to go sushi as well.. support local .

I enjoyed my experience in this place. The food was delicious; the quality stands out from the mainstream food in Christchurch. I am definitely coming back (also, for the first time, I tried a fresh miso-soup, not the classic sachets, really worthy)

Missus and myself went for brunch here. We tried their signature bento box and Pork Jyu. Food very delicious! Menu created thoughtfully and every flavour compliments every bite! You guys should be very proud. Owners/Operators very attentive and really takes care of you. Highly recommended and can’t wait to try the other dishes!

Had a wonderful dinner with signature bento box and pork jyu. Delicious food and nice vibe to enjoy the meal. Especially I liked Pork katsu. Lovely crunchy and so tasty. Staffs are so kind and nice. Definitely will visit again.
