A great spot for some sledding with the kids or skiing/snowboarding...when there is snow!30 minute walk up to the field though and track can be quite wet, so bring good waterproof footwear.

Parking can be difficult to source, the snow was a bit hard and icy, not great for beginners or the less experienced, especially compared to Mt. Hutt.

A great place to spend time with your kids. Safe field. Awesome experience.

Mountain biking here was great. My first time at a mountain bike park but was a great experience. Rented all the gear and bought lift passes for the day. I would recommend the full day passes as you can build up to the other routes like we did if you're novice!

Customer Service is top notch. It was my son's first time skiing and the staff were really accommodating, welcoming and supportive. The staff at the top of the Magic Carpet offered High 5's to every one at the top. The staff at the base of the Pommer were great slowing things down and offering my son advice. Janae or Janaya was my son's instructor for his lesson, he learned alot and she made the lesson fun.Tip. Get there early if you have to rent gear etc.Whilst it's not a cheap activity it certainly is fun for everyone.

Stunning views on the peak

Great place to stay or visit even if you're not skiing. It's gorgeous at sunrise and the birdlife is fairly active. There is a lodge associated with Lincoln university here (useful to know if you have the right friends). For the off season the mountain bike trails through here are good value.

A fairly small ski field, but great none the less. It's smooth for skiing in the winter, and during the summer it's great for a long walk up the mountainside for fantastic views.

Very scenic and steep drive up to the mountain. Drive carefully. They open from 9am onwards but do give them a call before you go up to the mountain to check on the snow and all.. They have a rental shop up there. So yeah. Drive safely.

The food was mediocre but the main reason I am giving this review 2 stars is because of one of the staff. We were at the outside dining area and we had outside food (we were an eating it, we just had it out) a waitress came up and said that outside food wasn’t allowed. We put our food away and we saw the waitress go up to other tables who had food out (my group and the other groups were Asian just as a detail) then we looked over to another table which had a family sitting there. They looked Caucasian (I don’t mean to be racist) and they were eating TONS of outside food. For example they had boiled eggs, sandwiches, snacks and many more. The same waitress saw their table and passed it multiple times but never told them about the outside food policy. I’m not sure is this was mainly coincidental but I’m 99% sure it wasn’t.
