We found Ida through the Southern Seas film school and asked her if she wanted to film our wedding. Even though Ida did more photography work in the past she is starting to do more video work. She was VERY accommodating. She bent over backwards capturing the special aspects of our day and the end result was FANTASTIC. We LOVED her drone it really took the shots to the next level. We would not hesitate to recommend Ida for your special day, you will get what you want!

Nina is an incredible photographer and has taken many beautiful photos of me. I have had her shoot international touring performers who have gone on to use her images in their marketing. I love her professionalism and creativity, she always goes out of her way to make the best art possible.

I came across Patina Photography in 2014 while looking for a photographer for my brother's wedding. We were blown away by their almost editorial wedding pictures that had exactly the romantic, enchanting and polished feel my sis in law was looking for!The pictures came out amazing and Michelle was just such a delight to work with. She went out of her way to accommodate the bride & groom, from providing female-only staff for the ladies-only reception to finding the perfect private locations for a photoshoot.I knew I wouldn't have anyone else to take my own wedding photos when the day comes!Fast-forward to 2018 and now I have my own set of stunning pictures to gush over. My husband and I wanted pictures that focused more on the scenery than our own awkward selves and boy did Michelle and James deliver! We can't wait to print these pieces of art out for our house.On the day of the shoot, we met with Michelle at the designated meeting point where she had already scouted the location - a secluded area of enchanting native NZ forest. Michelle never rushed us as she tried to get us looking as comfortable as possible despite the storm of sandflies, rain and our being camera shy. You would never know how stressed out I was by the sandflies as the pictures came out beautifully romantic and ethereal - the sun breaking through the tops of the trees, we look like elves strolling amongst the mossy branches!After a quick dress change, we headed to our second location - an open textured plain with the southern alps and the setting sun as our backdrop. Michelle & James made a great team, subtly taking shots from different angles. I was so impressed at how dedicated, professional, attentive and positive they were throughout the afternoon. Every picture at this location is just absolutely stunning, and exactly what we wanted! They captured everything I love about the South Island, all while making us look straight out of a bridal magazine.It took less than 4 weeks to receive the online album, and we were just blown away by every photo. I can't recommend Michelle & James enough!

Have now done a masterclass and a tour. Both were fantastic. The masterclass to Mount Cook covered so much and despite changeable weather the guides found great places to shoot. The tuition and advice was first class. The latest tour to Mikford Sound and Catlins was out if this world. Remarkable locations,guiding and the variety of locations made this a fantastic tour. The helicopter trip as s highlight and the passion of the guides was addictive. Would highly recommended and I'll be booking another one.

A brilliant course for those people wanting to learn Astrophotography. Coni is a very caring and knowledgeable photographer who will guide you though in a way that is easy to understand. Oh and the results you can get is just awsome. Amazed myself at what I've achievedHighly recommended course for all aspiring photographer's.

Best photography tour ever!!Fabulous experience with Glen! I had a custom tour made up of two half day tours and it was worth every second!The first part was to Glenorchy for sunrise and then to Skippers Canyon for sunset - highly recommended these two tours for the beautiful landscapes. Glen was really helpful throughout the whole day, giving me tips and teaching me new things about my camera and setting up my image. He was a wonderful host and definitely coming back on another tour in the future!!

We went on Glen's Skippers Canyon Sunset Tour. We had a great time, learned a lot and captured some great photos. Don't miss this adventurous outing.
