Id dearly love to give a great review, and had planned on doing so from day one if all went well, but unfortunately I can only tell of my experience now.I actually cant get my head around how frustrating my nearly 4 month ordeal with the Digital Darkroom has been.From my initial phone call to make the appointment, to them finally completing a mistake-ridden job months later when it should have taken a couple weeks, the communication and follow through has been appalling.They were painfully slow to remedy a mistake they made that they said they would remedy several times. I was also initially given the wrong information, that cost me in time and money, and when I gave feedback about this there was no apology from either of the two involved. People skills are lacking.I had to push them to fix their own mistake or nothing would get done and I wouldnt have received what I went there for. I gave them weeks (several times), to fulfill what they said theyd do in a couple days, before calling them back to ask them if they could please follow through... which they didnt again... so Id call again..Yes some people may be lovely people, conversational, intellectual, highly skilled in niche areas, but if the job requirements and relational skills are neglected, to the point of pain for the customer, and if their word means nothing in their own eyes (in other words lying), then sorry I do not recommend the Digital Darkroom unless changes are made.I wish them the best, and hope theyre able to work on these things to become the thriving hub that customers need them to be.

Derek's service and passion for his craft is superb. As a Taranaki photographer, having recently returned from Sydney after 25yrs, it has been so valuable to use Derek's printing service once again.I recently needed to get a series of images printed for display at Americarna, and needing a very quick turnaround. Derek was happy to help.Derek offered an array of fine art printing papers and canvas options. He gave me really valuable advise and suggested using Metallic paper for my portraits of cars. The resultant quality and vibrancy of this particular chrome type paper coupled with his Epson printer was the perfect medium for my imagery/display. Am absolutely thrilled with his service.Highly recommended

Highly recommend Digislidz! Paul has completed 2 projects for me. The first was converting a box of projector slides to digital photos and then a box of 20 year old VHS tapes into digital video files. The results have been outstanding and surpassed my expectations. AAA++
