Briar is simply a magician with a passion. Briar enlarged a very valuable photo of my father who is no longer with us.She does wonderful work with so much detail and empathy and I could not be more grateful.

Briar is very skilled and creative. She took great care to create digital copies of a number of my very old mini-tapes, edit out all of the blue sky and shoe scenes and was a great communicator throughout the process. I now have fantastic memories of my children and key events at my fingertips! I've already recommended Words and Designs to a number of my friends.

Briar scanned and restored some very old (circa 1910) family photos. Her work was amazing, she was very quick, not that pricey and she was lovely to engage with. Would highly recommend her. The photo's were of my Grandmother, her son and daughter (my Aunt and Uncle) were very pleased to be offered images of their mother. It is amazing what can be recovered.

Briar did an amazing job enlarging, touching up and printing a photo of my family members from a magazine in the 1960s that had been scanned into a website. I had low expectations because of the quality of the copy, and they were far exceeded. I’m thrilled with the end result. Great to deal with, very professional.

This was my first foray into self-publishing, and as such came to it with the uncertainties of a tyro with respect to process and outcome. To name a few, what was involved, how would the working relationship pan out, how would things be coordinated with the editor/designer and printer, and how would the shipping process be best handled, since the order had to be shipped to the US from New Zealand? The entire experience with Briar has been superlative and I am delighted with the result. Her experience, skill, efficiency, and constructive suggestions are much appreciated, as are her observations related to many little, yet important, details like lettering, choice of color, presenting large genealogical charts and handling the somewhat challenging cover content. And last but not least, her promptness in responding to my emails and delivering the finished product deserves appropriate plaudits.
