Disappointed with the poor customer service my Fiancé and I received from this store. I was recommended The Diamond Shop by a friend of mine, so we decided to take a visit to have a look at wedding bands.We felt very rushed and unappreciated. The store assistant wasn’t very helpful and at the end she took down all my details and said she would be in touch. Three weeks later and not a peep from anyone. Extremely frustrating as I was looking forward to making a bespoke ring after hearing such wonderful feedback.

I came in today with my daughter, and had an amazing customer service experience. I’d seen other earrings I liked elsewhere but the service here was fantastic - friendly but not pushy, and the two staff members had a really good energy about them, making me feel very comfortable. Even though I was being served by one, the other also joined in conversation and talked to my daughter also, which was really impressive as a lot of the time staff don’t care if it’s not “their” sale. As soon as we left my daughter said how nice the ladies were. Thanks for the amazing service today - you’re both an asset to Michael Hill!

I am so upset with my service I have received at the silverdale branch yesterday.My necklace broke on the 31st of July and I contacted Michael Hill online and they said please bring in the necklace and we will replace it. Then shortly after lockdown hit and I wasn’t able to come in store. Finally lockdown ended this month so I chatted a few days ago to someone online on the Michael Hill website and they said yes that’s fine please bring the necklace in to your closest branch.I ordered this necklace online because I don’t live close to a Michael Hill but I drove 50kms to Silverdale today to have my necklace replaced.I showed my receipt and was given a new necklace, it was on the counter and then just before I could leave I was told they actually can’t replace it as it is a month out of warranty I explained that it broke over lockdown and lockdown only lifted this month so I’m now coming in as I was told to do online. She says sorry there’s actually nothing we can do.My engagement ring is from Michael Hill I’ve been a loyal customer and to be turned away like that after being told multiple times to go in store is beyond frustrating.

Being involved in the design process is really exciting, it really gives you a unique experience and an amazing result (at no extra cost of buying from a high street store).I would not hesitate to use Greg Holland Jewellery again, in fact I look forward to it...! Walked in like every LOTR fan would and wasn’t sure what to expect as we were sure they are getting fans visiting all the time.We ended up being absolutely surprised by the amazing service and hospitality in this shop,Jamie the amazing sales associate immediately welcomed us and showed us all the amazing ring related artifacts they have in the store together with incredibly interesting stories about the store part in LOTR.The Jewelry in this shop is amazing and I ended up sneaking back and buying my girlfriend an anniversary gift, Jamie did everything to make sure i get the right version of what i chose and packaged it to perfection.My girlfriend was absolutely floored from the gift and the fact that it came from the same people that forged the one ring.I would recommend this place even if you are not a LOTR fan as their quality and service are un matched and the prices are absolutely reasonable!

This is worth the $15 I am probably going to be charged in roaming costs. I am currently on a cruise after my partner and I decided to take a walk up the pier of your lovely town of Akaroa. I was left with a small piece of rubbish I found on the walk. I asked to utilize their bin to dispose of it and was advised to proceed to walk to the end of the pier and use the council provisioned ones. It’s quite alright the rubbish did find one of these bins. Do not forget that your store relies solely on tourism dollar, a tourism dollar which is sent due to the pristine condition of this beautiful part of the world. Maybe have a consideration towards this before turning someone away for doing the right thing.
