Would not buy from these people if you ever have a faulty product. Sharon was very rude and condescending over email and would not fulfil obligations under consumers guarantee act. Did not understand that a guarantee from RM Williams means nothing compared to the law. It could have been a $30 or less cost having the sole fixed. Stand by the product or don’t sell it. Will be going directly to RM Williams and reporting poor retailer.Update: have received another nasty email after posting this review saying they won’t bother fixing as we posted poor review.Update 2: RM Williams gladly fixed the boot, paid to be taken to a repair shop and the sole was fixed.

Great shop, with loads of stuff. Very helpful staff, and good quality gear.

Came & visited the store today to purchase boots for myself as a birthday treat. Was incredibly impressed with the vast choice of RM Williams boots and the boot fitting service that was provided to me which made for an exceptional shopping experience. The care and time the staff put into ensuring the fit and feel of boot, as well as the aftercare. I ended up leaving with 2 pairs as couldn’t decide, no doubt I’ll be back next time I’m in town

Was looking for a pair of boots for my wedding, and the blonde lady was quite condescending and rude. Have previously been in there and measured my foot to a boot size. She refused to allow me to try those boots on and wouldn’t listen to what I was saying and explaining. This was on the 15th of July and I was highly disappointed with the way she spoke her customer service was appalling

Never said hello when we entered the store or a goodbye. Quite a few staff members in the store at the time and they never even made eye contact with us.. no one asked if we needed a hand or anything. Not very nice to be made to feel invisible

Rang the store yesterday lunchtime looking for Hoofmaster Violet to treat thrush in my horses hooves. The person on the phone sounded shocked at my request and was half laughing in her response when she told me that they didn’t sell the product. Unprofessional.

Went in looking for western boots. The pair that I liked were not in my size so the lady went out back and came back with my size telling me that they were in a different colour and told me “they have the exact same design”. The boots that she brought back were completely different to the ones I had asked her to look for and she knew it too. She was not interested in helping us at all because we weren’t country folk. When i was putting my boots back into the box she grumpily pushed me aside telling me “the box isn’t going to shut like that”. When my mum said she loved a pair a boots that she tried on, the lady didn’t even BOTHER to go look if they had a pair in her size and when my mum explained that she doesn’t have horses anymore as she now has a different hobbie, she was met with a judgemental up and down look. As said before she had no time for non-country folk. I advise that you go to the Woodend Canterbury Equestrian as the lady was extremely helpful and very lovely rather than the judgemental Templeton Canterbury Equestrian.

By far the best saddlery I've been too.

Very disappointed in the service from this business. I have emailed, I have been in the shop in person and I have called and left many messages trying to get the size of a particular saddle so I can purchase one as they are the stockists of this brand. After 2 weeks of trying to get any returned contact I have given up. Very poor communication. So frustrating !! Happy to change my review if this situation can be resolved.
