It’s probably the best place to come for brunch in Stratford. They have a broad selection of cabinet foods and a brunch menu. For some reason, it was very smoky indoors when we visited, everyone was sitting in the smoke and our clothes smelled like smoke. I recommend their Cuban Pork Sandwich.

I'm a regular at the Baking Co mainly due to the awsum friendly staff & great coffee! But after today, I'm not sure if it'll be my Stratty go-to in the weekend anymore. The amazing Darci welcomed & served me. We chatted for a few minutes when she wasn't busy, as we always do & I welcomed it. But the kitchen lady, who is apparently the boss, told her to stop being lazy & useless & to stop talking to me... Wow?! Unbelievable! Darci, along with all the other staff, are nothing but hardworking & professional, even when short-staffed & busy as, whenever I'm there & only stop to talk to me when they're not busy. This is not how you treat staff, nor customers, especially regulars. I will be reconsidering where I get my coffee from now.

Good food, some of it could be improved in terms of ingredient quality and freshness but there is lots to choose from which is great.Some of the staff seem like they don't want to be there, but I went in today and there were some staff that I hadn't seen before who were really friendly and helpful!A good stop for morning or afternoon tea.

Got some pies on a really nice and cold day and these were just absolutely amazing, got a lamb and rosemary pie and my husband got a chicken and cranberry pie, just so good. And thank you for the staff for being so friendly too, would highly recommend anyone to stop by their!

Highly recommend the kiwi classic sausage roll. It's so good and worth every cent. Please Baking Co keep this one on the menu!

I had a steak and cheese pie which was nice and the meat was Tender. I’m not a big fan of that much pastry however, overall was nice.I had an oatmilk latte which was nice and served at a great temperature.

Off the main road opposite Z station is probably best bakery in StratfordPlease remember this is not a cafe however you can be seated and served but no trimmings.There is also seating outside on footpathStaff are friendly and alertRecommend the pork and fennel sausage roll the smell of fennel was appetising.Chocolate chip cookie had only one chip and was dry and crumbled at first bite. Would be better baked smaller.Coffee is from New Plymouth Proof and Stock and is really good.Served with a complimentary biscotti a nice touch.Fries generous portion and crispy but aioli sauce tad bland.Good assortment cabinet food and freshly baked bread.
