Went there two days ago to close the serious saver bank account as the other bank provided much better rate. The staff was neither professional nor friendly. Today ANZ still charged us for saving account and the serious saver didn’t close at all. Call centre told us they need my husbands permission as it’s a joint account but it doesn’t make sense. My husband was there with me. It wasted me 50mins to get confirmation from call centre that will be fixed soon. Will switch to other bank asap.

A forty minute wait to ask for a statement. $ 3.50 per page.2 months on and still no statement

Great customer service and very quick.There is someone standing at the door that won’t serve you until you scan in. I have no problem with scanning in but I know it’s not mandatory to do so. Need more staff on only one person on the tills with a line of 7.

Just entered your branch today at 1.30 give or take and 2 of your greeting staff were very aggressive and rude demanding information.Highly disappointed!

This bank is consistently understaffed at the tellers and wait times are excessive.

Very disappointed with so called Saturday banking drove from Ashburton to Christchurch with the intention of cashing a cheque only to find out they don’t do cashiers on Saturday. Waste of my time and fuel thanks for nothing!
