Got the job done but cant shut gates after themselves. Almost killed my dog as I was taking him to his crate because the front gate was wide open. Also didnt put back the shelving. Same sink installed but somehow plumbing set up different so shelf wont fit..

I would not recommend this company to anyone. This review has taken me awhile to post but I feel that I should speak up about this company. My shower that was five years old needed replacing ,but they replaced it with a smaller shower that has left visible concrete, there was also damaged during replacement. I rang company back but told me it's not there problem and not much they could do. The replacement was not cheap. Once the new shower was installed it leaked ,I sent in a video but no response. They clearly do not care and I am still left with a horrible looking bathroom.

Laser Plumbing recently attended my residence to diagnose and repair a misbehaving gas water heater. Due to its age replacement was a possibility. The staff member arrived, when he said he would, he was respectful of our grounds and the interior spaces. He appraised the issue, advised the resolve, ordered the new unit, installed all in 3 hours. Brilliant.

Had an water emergency issue and was able to get someone on the phone at 8am on a Saturday. They came out promptly and were able to fix up the issue that morning.While fixing the issue they were able to locate an aging pipe that needed replacing. They had taken a photo of the pipe and it definitely needed replacing.3 weeks later I've just had someone out to fix the pipe. The person doing the work said he was advised what needed to be done by the person doing the previous job. He got the work done in no time at all. That's a great bonus to the customer paying for the job.I now have Laser Plumbing East on my phone contacts list and will call them with no hesitation next time. Thanks for being so responsive and friendly.Note, I rang a few places on the Saturday morning with the plumbing issue, this was the first place that called me back and was able to get a person straight onto the job. So if you are reading this on the weekend with an emergency job, call them asap!

Two very happy customers here. Context: we purchased a house knowing it had unrepaired and extensive earthquake damage to the old clay waste- and stormwater drains (thanks to a same-day inspection by Laser Plumbing East during our due diligence). The EQC claims were assigned to us when we bought, although there was very little left in the cap, and definitely not enough to cover the repairs.Pauline at Laser Plumbing East was a godsend- she walked us through re-opening the claim and providing the necessary documentation to do that, dealt with EQC on our behalf, and then managed the repairs. Due to her expertise she was able to have EQC agree to cover all the repairs- even a last minute variation that popped up. Excellent communication with us at all stages of the repair.Levi, Terry, Dom and Aaron carried out the repairs efficiently (finishing a day ahead of schedule) and were great to deal with. Again excellent communication with us about what was going on, esp. around the noisy parts of the job- unavoidable of course given the nature of the repairs!We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Laser Plumbing East for anyone in our position (unrepaired EQ damage) or for any plumbing/drainage work.

IMMEDIATE - GOOD VALUE - GREAT STAFFDuring the King's Birthday long weekend, our shower's hot water pipe burst. We could hear water surging in the wall behind the shower. Not knowing what to do I called Laser Plumbing Chch East's after-hours number. Carol immediately calmed me down, told me how to make safe the area, and had one of her team on site within the hour. The repair was made good - allowing us to turn the mains water back on - and stay at home. We are 101% happy with the work that the Laser team has done for us. And thanks for extra miles they have gone. Glen was quite efficient and always gave quick response.During the two-week working period, we were very impressed by the precautions they have taken, the minimum impact they've made to our daily lives and their polite and integrity attitude. They even did some extra miscellaneous jobs which were out of the scope but as per our request. They even made contact with the city council to re-construct the storm water outlet (council work) at the street front which was not done properly by the previous contractor - through which we saw their professionalism and perfectionism. Their subcontractor also did a great job on the reinstatement of the asphalt and coloured concrete driveway. Overall absolutely FIVE STARS! I had the most incredible experience first with Glen who came out to my place to look into a flooding problem and when then was blown away by the followup from Pauline without whose help I would never had got the EQC claim through. She was so persistant and professional with what was an extremely challenging situation with another property owner also being involved. She was so caring and genuine and the result was outstanding and problem totally fixed by EQC. I am so grateful to her and the dedication to the task was outstanding.(This was not a quick fix) If she is on your side your are indeed extremely fortunate.

We have used Laser plumbing twice now and the service they provide is excellent, the staff are always polite and friendly they work hard and tidy up after themselves. We have used them in the Waikato and now in Christchurch and the service is consistently of a high standard and the cost is reasonable. Highly recommended for bathroom and toilet renovations large or small same level of service and quick to complete the job too.
