A family member had Gas & Plumbing highly recommended so called them when a tennis ball was stuck in a drain. They were told it was a really simple job and it was completed quickly and efficiently by very professional well-presented guys.When the invoice came there were a lot of hidden costs that hadn't been explained that meant this simple and quick job cost almost $300.When called to discuss some of these costs the response wasn't constructive and was ruder than expected.The people doing the work are great, but make sure you ask about all possible costs before getting the job booked. Another review on Yellow says that it cost the customer over $200 to have a tap washer replaced. More transparency on costs, and maybe even fixed pricing would make this a great company.

What I particularly loved about engaging Hamish for my replacement hot water cylinder installation and plumbing upgrades was his responsive and personable communication. I live in a rural area where travel is sometimes an obstacle for tradies. Hamish showed up, listened to me, talked me through various options, and consistently kept communicating with me so that I knew when I could expect the various phases of the work to be done. Top marks for making me feel like a valued client! And very impressive, professional plumbing installed too
