Debbie helped guide us through the design, colours and materials for our new build. She took our vast range of thoughts, ideas and photos and turned them into some easy to choose compositions. We are currently in the middle of an extensive rennovation with Debbie. When I say we, Debbie is the one doing all the hard work. From the get go she has taken time to understand what we want and need from our home. She has managed to blend practicality with our style and colour pallet to come up with something personalized and unique. After our initial meeting with Debbie we went from being nervous about buying an expensive home that needed a lot of work, to excited about it being our forever home. She has been meticulous in her planning and detail, but flexible enough to incorporate any additional requests we have.Debbie has access to an impressive array of professional contractors and services we would never be able to arrange ourselves and she has organized them perfectly to execute our plan. What Debbie and Compose have done for us has been invaluable, the savings we have made in time, access to the industry and narrowing our focus was greatly under estimated by us. We engaged the services of Compose Interiors to assist us with completing our home renovation. After our first meeting with Debbie we realised that she had a lot to offer in adding value to our project, over the nine month period of our renovation Debbie helped us bring together a home interior that we really enjoy living in, this ranged from assisting us with kitchen design,lighting, tiling for the bathrooms, colour schemes, carpet, curtains, wardrobes, media cabling and furniture selection. We found Debbie to be an interior designer who listened to our tastes, provided ideas and options, which sometimes pushed us outside our comfort zone, but a compromise was easily reached. Debbie always provided a professional service throughout our project and we are very pleased with the final product.

We used Debbie from Compose Interiors, who was recommended to us by a friend, to help us with a “refresh” of our home. This included painting, wallpapering, flooring, curtains and blinds as well as a complete re-fit of our bathrooms. She met with us and we discussed the brief and Debbie came back and presented us with mood boards. This was fantastic as seeing her design options and ideas made the decision overall very easy. Compose Interiors recently managed the design and implementation of the kitchen refurbishment at out our house in Wellington. We were extremely pleased with the expert assistance we received in drawing up the design and also the very efficient project management in the implementation phase. A particular strength of the service provided by Compose Interiors was providing access to excellent contractors to do the joinery, plumbing and electrical work. The contractors worked as a coordinated team to get the project done to an agreed timetable. The project was completed much more quickly, and with less disruption than we expected. We brought Compose Interiors into our new build project to help us turn our very neutral (boring) paint and flooring selections into a comfortable but personalised home. Initially we were so happy to have someone narrow down the endless selections for us, but Debbie consistently suggested colours and patterns and furniture items that elevated anything we could have ever dreamed of choosing ourselves, and at exceptional quality. She communicated clearly with us from the very beginning and stands by her suppliers and their work. We're currently in the middle of planning a renovation and asked Debbie to come onboard and prepare a style guide. Debbie (and Susie) channelled our ideas and captured the 'soul' of our house beautifully. It's given us so much more confidence in product choice and deterred us from some permanent flops! Possibly our best investment yet! She's also been enthusiastic to answer questions as we go. I feel Compose interiors is the difference to our reno being 'nice' to something beautiful.

Debbie designed and managed my bathroom renovation. She did a fantastic job not only with the design but at getting all the parts and ensuring all the trades people arrived when they needed to. As we only have one bathroom Debbie planned the work so that it could be done quickly with a minimum of disruption. She was easy to work with. Plus her meticulous planning meant I knew what was happening when and what the costs were. I love my bathroom and would thoroughly recommend Debbie to anyone considering renovations.

Debbie was excellent. She totally took away the stress of installing my new kitchen. The trades people she uses were all top quality, who went above and beyond in the quality of their work. Debbie was in constant contact and any issues that arose I could just message Debbie and she sorted them straight away. Without Debbie’s artistic vision I probably wouldn’t have picked the tiles, pendant lights etc that we went with, but I absolutely love them.
