I don’t usually leave reviews, let alone poor ones but today I waited approx 40min for 2 orange juices, and 2 items from the cabinet. This could be understandable if they were extremely busy. There were 3 staff and only about 6 people inside at this time! I regret not telling new customers of this poor service and had to watch the same unfold on them! Can’t say much for the food we had either… Staff did not appear to know what they were doing and did not even communicate properly with their customers. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone sorry. Im now sitting in another cafe to feed my very patient and starving 3 year old as a result.

Indeed easy parking close to this coffee shop in the morning. The most busy period with many persons enjoying breakfast. We came for a flat white and a fruit drink booster. Was all fine an good. The shop has a explained on the wall clearly the differences between all kind of coffees

Great all berry smoothies. Columbus Coffee is centrally located in Rangiora with a large car park out the back. This is a very nice place to met up for coffee. Staff are friendly and the food is great. If you are wanting to do some main street shopping this is one of the better places you can go to have a well deserved break.The decor is great with floor to ceiling windows with great street views. Service is good being prompt and efficient.

Great place with very good food and coffee but what made it a standout was the fantastic service. A young guy named Matt went above and beyond to give each of us what we asked for. It seems that poached eggs on normal toast (not ferkin sourdough or gluten free cardboard) is an insurmountable challenge for nearly all these days but Columbus did it superbly. Added some Bacon and even a milkshake with a little lateral thinking by Matt. Thanks, will definitely be back.

I use to love this place, coffee was amazing when I use to come here. Came today and got a takeaway extra hot spiced chai and a hot chocolate waited well over 25 minutes, no details on the wait time, the chai was hardly even warm and the regular hot choc was warmer. The milk also didn’t taste right in the chai.Just seems like standards have dropped and the care has gone. At least the staff were nice, but ended up throwing the drinks out

Called by to grab a coffee yesterday 2nd Jan...knowing only a few cafes were open, I was happy to wait the 25 minutes for my coffee fix.. Unfortunately this turned into 45min!This cafe has always been my go-to when in Rangiora, but obviously with a new owner things have changed. The barista was trying to make coffees as well as smoothies. Felt sorry for the other staff who were starting to deal with grumpy and impatient customers. Not sure if I'll be visiting as often

Got a chicken filo, it just had a bit much cream cheese in it for me. Very tasty all the same. Their fries were very good, likewise the sausage roll.

Sticky tables were in desperate need of clearing & cleaning! The warm salad & filo wrap were aparently very good/filling, the spinach & corn slice was light although unfortunately lacked any flavour. Very little g.f or d.f options & nothing with both diets (g.f + d.f) or Vegan catered for. 3☆s due to two good meals, otherwise... I recommend going elsewhere
