Dr. Lulu Van Eden is a great doctor! She listened to me. I mean, actually listened to me and heard me. She addressed all my questions and worries about the procedure. She is extremely competent, warm and caring and I highly recommend her.

Dr Laloo is a rare gem among Christchurch doctors. I wholeheartedly recommend her to people who are used to medical care provided by highly professional doctors who have extensive medical knowledge combined with many years of experience. Dr Laloo’s surgery is equipped with both ultrasound and a gynecological chair - she can diagnose patients during their visits based on a thorough medical examination, which is a European standard I truly missed in NZ. She is a doctor who does not blindly follow procedures but uses her expertise to think outside the box, if needed. Because of all the above, Dr Laloo builds trust with her patients and you feel that you are in good hands. A cherry on the top is her warm personality and ability to see people, not patients or cases. She is polite in a way that does not involve distance and vagueness. During consultations, you can speak your mind and you do not need to read between lines when you listen to her explanations. She’s the whole package, and I am happy to have met her.

I have recently had major surgery performed by Dr Praveen De Silva who I cant speak highly enough of. My case was quite complicated and unfortunately I ended up having a couple of Middlemore stays after surgery. Despite being in the public sector at this stage Praveen stayed in constant contact with me, came in to Middlemore Hospital regularly to check on my progress and followed up with the medical team there to ensure I received the best possible care. Praveen has the most beautiful caring bedside manner too and goes over and above. I cant praise this man enough. Highly recommended.

Due to constant delays and feeling dismissed by my previous ‘private’ surgeon I ended up very anxiously transferring care over to Fem health. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr Krishna Lalloo and her incredibly helpful team. She was easy to communicate with, efficient in her work and quick to make things happen.Not only was her medical expertise outstanding using top of the line equipment, but she also took a holistic approach to my care. She always made me feel heard and never assumed anything, made me feel comfortable and even held my hand while in theatre. I had a incredibly speedy recovery! I can’t thank her and her team enough for the experience! I have/would highly recommend her for someone whom feels anxious and and unsure regarding womens health.I also work within the health sector (specifically surgical) and can tell you I have never meet a more genuine, caring surgeon/Doctor whom will go that extra mile.

Dr Lulu van Eeden has a calm caring manner. As a GP I have called her for help and advice on many occasions and she has always been friendly and helpful.

Dr Michael Wynn-Williams has a very cool, calm and collected aura. His confidence in being able to excise all of my endometriosis (stage 4) wiped away all of our worries. I went into the surgery excited & with a smile plastered across my face. I came out the same (except a little fatigued & with a tender belly this time!). Endometriosis is a viscous disease so I am really grateful people like Michael exist & have chosen this as their niche / profession. I felt at ease throughout the whole process and had an army of support afterwards. I was also able to get in touch with Michael easily when I had any concerns throughout my recovery. I really appreciated this as I've never had any surgeries before so I was unsure of what to expect afterwards. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone with endometriosis - especially complex cases. The nurses at Ascot deserve a mention too- they were absolutely incredible, warm & compassionate.
