Gastropub

Lovely local bar. Good range of beers on tap and in the fridge. Something for everyone's taste. I looked online at the menu and ordered the Walsh rabbit but the menu had changed over night. The awesome staff sorted me out with a cheeky slice!

This was an average experience at the pedal pusher. The menu was varied, and the food was ok. Some dishes better than others, my chowder was good compared to the pork belly. The cocktails were decidedly underpar, the bartender was lovely but not trained. Not a lot of atmosphere, and it was cold when we sat down. Maybe we hit them on a bad night, but we won't be going back.

We came to Baha Betty for lunch today. The waiter was friendly and the food was quick to arrive. We got the Lobster Po-Buoys dish, and it was delicious with tons of flavour. We also got the Shoestring Fries to share, and they tasted great as well. We did stick to the cheaper dishes, but the meal was still very filling and was plated nicely. The atmosphere was nice and decorative, but I found that the music was quite inappropriate and loud, which made conversation difficult. The place was pretty much empty as well as there were plenty of seats inside. If you don't mind a moderately-priced place to have a bite to eat, this is a great choice, and the chefs are fast at making the meals! I'll definitely come here again, as I am keen to try more of the menu.

A great Mother's Day Brunch with family!It's a great place to have a relaxed family gathering. It was great being able to watch our grandson play as we were able to be seated close to the playground! Ordered two vegan burgers over the phone. Was given meat burgers, manager would not refund or replace. He also hung up on me and was quite rude. Super disappointed.Edit: I was right there when my friend ordered and she said O.G Vege and then followed it up with an order of vegan jungle fries. It's word against word there and I don't blame you taking the side of your employee but it does leave me feeling a little condescended when you are solely blaming the customer for the mistake of the business. I would have really appreciated a refund or at least a considerate approach to the mistake as the food was quite expensive, I don't like supporting the meat industry and I couldn't eat the burgers. I hope you will be more considerate to your future customers when there is a mistake. Cheers.

Our very first meal in New Zealand! And it was definitely a good idea to go there. I ordered West Coast BBQ ribs and it was sooooo soooo delicious!! A great place with nice ambient and good beer too. Service is really friendly. Recommend!

Needed a quick bite to eat and Garrisons was the perfect place! Good food and beverage choices. Our burgers were tasty & filling and served with a decent amount of chips. Staff were friendly and chatty. Bonus that Garrisons is part of the Joylab loyalty programme.

Food really good bacon on our burgers was a bit salty but edible place was very busy close to being booked out which made for a bit more voice noise but my wife and I had no trouble communicating all in all recommended score of 19/20

Northern Union is about as close as you can get to a British pub in that, unlike most NZ pubs that only cater to one demographic, The Northern Union has people from all walks of society, from tradies, professionals, families and pensioners. It achieves this, (I feel) by having the best service and by bending over backwards to be accomodating to their customers.

Great place for drinks and food. Have drank more than eaten in here but the meals I’ve had have always been very tasty and good portion sizes. Alcoholic drinks reasonably priced and also do jugs which is always appreciated. Nice, big garden out the back too. One of my favourite drinking spots in Petone
