Browns Bay Forrest Funerals were totally professional and empathetic when they helped my family prepare for and deliver my mothers funeral. They went out of their way to create a funeral booklet that we were happy with and on the day the flowers, chapel room and refreshments were all that we could have hoped for. A special heartfelt thank you to our wonderful funeral director Matt.

We had a terrible experience with my sisters funeral here. The Christian" minister Graham Harvey who presided over the funeral gossiped to his deranged sister about my family and she sent me several abusive emails a week after her funeral while I was grieving!?? She confirmed in the emails that "Minister" Harvey (her brother) had given her all the details/slander. I approached the funeral home about this and they apologised but did nothing and said it was out of their hands?? They could have taken SOME action to make sure this lunacy and unprofessionalism doesn't happen to other grieving families. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as they unable to provide any privacy and dignity for grieving families."

Our father passed away suddenly last Oct. Trish was excellent to deal with, arranging immediate transport of dad from the hospital to the funeral home. She then stepped in as celebrant and was extremely helpful and professional.What really let them down was the complete oversight of multiple things following. A possession went missing and we were told it somehow was accidentally put inside the coffin/kiln - HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN (no replacement or compensation offered) The death certificate had incorrect details entered, the funeral bill had incorrect details on it and also had to be amended, then the ashes weren't separated which was again specified on the paperwork the director filled out with the family. One mistake I can overlook, but it was one thing after another which in a very stressful, upsetting time is not what you need. Tbh I'm still very angry and disappointed 7mnths later

Just want to acknowledge and thank all the staff at Morrison's Funeral Home for helping my father and I host the most beautiful and flawlessly-executed service for my dearly departed mother. We especially want to thank Kaipara Solomon for ensuring that not a single detail was overlooked. His attention to detail, prompt responses, and genuine care from start to end, was exceptional! The loss of our mother and mother in law recently meant we needed a Funeral Director and we were not sure where to go, so made a decision to talk to Legacy about our requirements, we new we were in good hands after just a few minutes talking to Fergus Keith who helped us to walk through what would happen and how we could achieve the outcome we desired. Highly recommend Lagoon... workmanship on casket was top notch, no hidden agendas, gave my man the utmost dignity and respect... treated whanau with such empathy and not pity... our driver was very flexible with all requests and help guide us to the ground. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Thank you to the Ese Tatupu team especially Luana & Ese himself for accommodating my family and I during one of our toughest days. Not only were we in a Level 4 lockdown, they went above and beyond to give my sister the best possible Lockdown funeral service. They assisted us in the best way possible and being Pacific Islanders obeying lockdown rules was the hardest part but they guided us the entire way through. Harvey Bowler was a very professional service and definitely catered to our cultural needs! My little sister recently passed away, and our family hired them. Michael was amazing! Helped in everyway to get everything sorted for us so things ran as soon as possible. His timing was great, & I could see he genuinely cared and wanted to help make everything seamless- and it did.Thank you so much Michael! I know with whatever happens in the future we'll always come to you guys.

Such a welcoming & compassionate team !! . The funeral home especially the funeral director Jake Prime did such a wonderful job , all the advice and direction he was able to give my family and when organizing all the funeral arrangements. It took a lot go pressure off us during this crazy time. When we began discussing funeral arrangements for my grandmother, she was confident that Morrisons Funeral Home was the place for her to go . I am so glad that she pointed us in the right direction during her lifetime . Our first meeting to arrange and discuss plans was a difficult experience for my mother as we knew my grandmother had limited time left . After the meeting with Jake my mother and I felt at ease with the process and left without any need for additional questions.Thank you for you tender care you gave to my grandmother . We appreciate the extra attention to my grandmothers wishes and the personalization of her service from discussions about the clothing to the dressing of the casket and the burial you were able to handle our requests with respect and compassion and awesome job on the folding of the tapa mat around my grandmother it was done perfectly ! Which is a difficult task to do even for our own people so Jake not being of our culture he did perfectly ! . Always appreciated the contact made with myself as Jake would always text and call to keep me up to date on how arrangements were going . Also a massive thank you to Vicky as I did bring a lot of family to the viewing and she was always so kind and patent with us . I knew from my first phone call with Rav Biswas, Assistant Manager/Funeral Director that we made the right decision to have Fountains Funerals in Papakura help us arrange a beautiful service for our precious Mum Carol.It was a team effort" by Fountains so thank you to "everyone" who played a part and helped our whānau during this difficult time to give our Mum the beautiful "send off" she deserved.A very special thanks to Rav.
