the receptionist needs to learn people skills..She was rude.. in this time of covid.. and the uncertainty of having this procedure done..In the letter it says 1 support person. 7am we rock up.. greeted by an absolutely fantastic nurse.. who answered questions was very accommodating. When in walks the receptionist. First words Who are you? I said I was here with my partner who was in the toilet. To which she said "You will have to go

My husband had a hernia operation performed by Dr Richard Perry at St George's Hospital in Christchurch.24 hours after his operation my husband was feeling very unwell and was vomiting frequently. He rang the St George hospital to explain his condition to a nurse. She was unconcerned by my husband's conditioned. She dismissed it and said that everyone reacted differently to the drugs administered during surgery and there was nothing to worry about. He rang the hospital a further 2 times as his conditioned had deteriorated during the 48 hours after his operation . Again he received the same useless platitudes. He was still vomiting and feeling a lot worse at midnight on Friday, so I drove him to the emergency department at the Christchurch hospital, arriving around 1am on a Saturday morning. It took a further 6 hours of agony for my husband to be seen and admitted to hospital before receiving some effective pain relief. It turned out, part of my husband's bowrl had been stitched during the hernia repair procedure causing a blockage. My husband did receive an apology from Richard Perry, the day after he was recovering from his second operation to fix the obstruction by a different surgeon. My husband and I both agree, the service from the staff at St George Hospital, when notified about his medical concerns after his operation, was unprofessional and very disappointing.dofferent Terrible after care service

Self referred to have a laproscorpic cholysitectomy as l had multiple gallstones, and l was treated like Royalty right from the word go. Professor Adam Bartlett and his team were careing and efficient to the Tee. The ambiance and decor of their hospital makes you feel like you're in a hotel. They also reached out to me 2 days post surgery which l thought was so efficient. I would recommend Dr Adam Bartlett and his team to anyone seeking the same procedure a 100 percent. Thankyou for your wonderful service and the care you rendered to me.Absolutey Awesome!!!

Endoscopy Auckland
The communication at Endoscopy Auckland is poor to say the least. I was scheduled to attend on Thursday and Auckland re-entered level 3 on the Wednesday. I called the clinic and found out the procedure was cancelled. Fair enough, working at level 3 affects procedures for many workplaces and is bound to impact services. The clinic called back to reschedule (I happened to be driving my car which I also explained). I was told that I had to reschedule then and there. The staff were unable to wait the 90 seconds (literally) that it took me to park my car so that I could look at my calendar, forcing me to accept a date 15 days later. Fine. 12 days later, I contact the clinic to verify my appointment. I had had no communication, so this was a precautionary check. Endoscopy Auckland explained that pending the results of the alert status there was a 50% chance the procedure would be rescheduled. It took Endoscopy Auckland 8 working days to communicate this information to me. I called them a third time to find out the procedure was cancelled, again. I am not sure whether it is just the communication or the management too, but either way the service is poor. I cannot comment on other aspects of service or quality as I did not visit the centre, choosing to go elsewhere instead. TL DR If you want to waste your time chasing people for information. Come here.

Endoscopy Auckland
I was nervous going in for my first colonoscopy but felt very well looked after. They gave me all the info I needed for the prep and booking, explained everything well on the day, and was cared for right to the door. Mr Phil Allen was my endoscopist and he was a very nice manner. I won't be exactly looking forward to coming back in a few years but I feel comfortable knowing that I'll be in good hands.
