Like the service and easy to find what I was looking for , preferred Books wasn't use any computer yet as I only came in to study and love reading, bonus part is teens have their own space in the library to study and used computers avoiding waiting time, love it

I believe that every child - and every adult who chooses to broaden their understanding of how ingrained prejudice influences even our seemingly most innocuous decisions - needs to visit the Holocaust Centre, as part of a wider programme of study focused on the necessity of tolerance. The Holocaust Centre is a place of reverence where millions of innocent people, whose voices have never been heard, are remembered in the greatest hope that their fate is clearly understood to be the logical outcome of unbridled state-sanctioned human intolerance of any kind. The Holocaust Centre is much more than a place of deep significance to Jewish people; It is symbolic of the much wider psychological disease of human prejudice; It speaks in monumental terms of cause and effect. As a library, it is a repository of educational material, in the form of personal testimony from survivors - and academic study - of the shoah. There is much to be learned here about human prejudice and resilience.

For a small museum, it is well laid out. Informative and the lady at the desk on Saturday morning was very helpful.

Absolutely useless website! What was once an easy to manouevre website is just a clunky site with far too many words over-explaining nothing of value. I used to be able to easily search for military records but not so anymore. Have no idea why the word repository keeps being used when the average NZer has no idea what that means. Perhaps you should've used the word Archives... imagine that. It just feels like someone wanted to throw some money around to justify their jobs and this is the result. The fact that they have to have pages and pages explaining how to search means they have failed in ease of use.

I love this library. The librarians on the Non-Fiction level are very friendly and one went out of her way to help me renew an old library card. Great books on New Zealand Maori history
