Friendly staff but the motel needs a complete make over. The price is way too much for the standard of the rooms.- Stains & marks on carpet- There was hair on the floor & in bath in the bathroom. I don’t think it had actually been cleaned.- Brown water came out of tap- Bathroom sink had brown stains all through it- We both got a sore back from the bed- There was tea etc & milk which was greatOverall, they shouldn’t be charging $130 a night for this standard of room. Wow.

Unsure If stated online but this place does emergency housing.Rooms look like they are barely cleaned,if at all. Looks like the door was once kicked it and lock didn't work properly. Didn't stay , got a refund and walked out.Furniture stacked up outside rooms, dogs locked in cars.Don't recommend.

Large room with tea making facilities and crockery and cutlery for takaway meals. Bathroom with spa bath. Facilities a little tired but clean and well kept. The staff were superb, friendly and helpful going second mile.

Stayed for business with a colleague (x2 rooms), my company paid $250 a night per room! I've paid less a night at much higher quality hotels/motels with more facilities etc. The rooms were dated, tired and in need of repair/reno. It would also seem that it is used for emergency housing, so not the nicest 'vibe' to be honest. If I was to look for a positive, the bed and linen was clean.

Bed was uncomfortable; bathroom had flaking paint on ceiling, no shower curtain and the shower handle didn't fit in the holder, we had wet toilet paper and everything in the bathroom soaking wet because shower head kept falling out and wetting everything.

Worst hotel to book and to stay in. Nothing works pool or spa dirty room mats stinks like poo strong bad smell comes from room. Service is completely trash when we talk to manager he doesn't care he told us can't do anything. Shows good edited pictures but in person nothing is like that also not suitable for older parents they need to claim up to have shower inside spa no separate shower is very slippery inside not recommended at all waste of money.

Pictures versus reality a completely different story. This motel needs to be renovated old, musty carpets. Our room had a spa bath with shower no consideration of health and safety especially for elderly they aren't able to get into the tub and out as there is no steps and the tub is set so high.Half of the amenities included in our room didn't work and no sign pool was closed for maintenance.

I was overlooking that beautiful pool, what a cool place to just rest after a long day. We had run the spa bath and it was epic. The hot chocolate and coffee range was perfect and the room was clean as. You can see when they have pride in their jobs and workplace cause it shows.

We stayed here for a weekend to do some e-biking on the Te Awa track. Although the motel is a little tired, we had a great spacious room with spa bath, cooking facilities and excellent bed and linens - consequently we had a great night's sleep. What stood out for us was the excellent service at reception - we were able to get secure storage for our bikes, even on the day we left so that we were able to visit Hamilton Gardens - a treat in its own right. Many thanks. :-)
