Awesome place for breakfast, topped off with fantastic coffee and even better service. And a barister that actually similes and enjoys her work!! Well done. A lot of other companies could learn something.

Honestly, I don’t know how this place has the rating it does. Firstly we were overcharged and they couldn’t refund onto card, so we had to take cash. But the most disappointing thing was the food, we ordered two big breakfasts and at $29.00 each they were terrible.-The bacon must have been cooked in a crowded pan as it was steamed instead of fried properly. It was also undercooked.-Mushrooms were bland. Sautéed nicely but lacking any seasoning or garnish.-House baked beans were overpowered with the flavour of bay leaf, one of which found its way onto the plate. They were also served cold.-The crust on the minuscule slice of focaccia was incredibly tough.-Poached eggs were poorly cooked also, one was over, the other was under.To summarise, everything was poorly cooked and there was distinct lack of any sort of cohesion across the plate, at this price point, it was severely lacking. I would have expected to pay less than $10 for such a disappointing meal.

Stopped off here after hearing some good sfuff about Urban Grind.Really good food, various dishes with eggs either special or just good well cooked meals. I had a turkish special and was amazing!! Good flavors and everything well cooked!Coffee was excellent and the cafe had a really nice ambiance. Would recommend

World class great tasting food made with local produce, great variety catering for all diets, friendly efficient service and the coffee is supreme. We are visiting from Australia and have thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at this warm and inviting cafe

If I lived here, I would be a regular! And every time I’ve had a cheese scone, I’d think surely this is the best and then Urban Grind exceeds all expectations and competition. Also, conveniently located and perfect for a cuppa by yourself, or a catch up even for a large group.

Nice breakky. Coffee and food were great.daughter had waffle and nutella.. she is normally last to finnish but she had it all and before is. she loved it.A nice way to start a beautiful day in wanaka

Not my taste. Environment was nice n chill with outdoor area. Staffs were friendly. Tomato soup was very sweet n the pork hash was very filling and a bit pricey for what it is. Fries were just soso. Didn’t even take photos of the food. But the smoothies were goood!
