Riverside Haven Lodge & Holiday Park

The view was so good and the facilities were really clean. The rooms were also well spaced and comfy. The owners themselves were so kind and helpful.

The owners are absolutely fabulous people,who go out of their way to help with anything at all. Very nice setting, clean,warm rooms and facilities are very tidy and more than adequate..always a pleasant place to rest in a quiet setting.

Beautiful place to stay at close to nature location with well spaced rooms and family facilities. The owner made our experience special and we loved our time there.

A very welcoming and friendly couple run this park. Couldn’t put a fault to it if I tried, they took me in and looked after every need I had a before I had even asked. I’d recommend this site to anyone looking for somewhere to stay, it has something for everyone to enjoy, a true getaway haven!

Great stay! Hugh sites, clean and well maintained. Nothing was a bother, and everything worked as it should. Great park for kids, safe and nice family holiday.

Great one night stopover. Shared kitchen, lounge, dining room all lovely and only share with other guests in lodge, not campers. We had it to ourselves most of the time.

Another wonderful treasure for us caravaners and Campers. An older style camping grounds with spotless facilities and a stunning parklike setting alongside the family safe Waianakarua River. Lovely to experience a friendly mix of us older folk and young families over Labour's Weekend.If you want an adventure, wander upstream for about an hour to a boulder field to rival Moeraki!This dog friendly camp is a credit to the owners and we'll definitely be back.

We had an awesome stay at Riverside Haven!Facilities are clean and comfortable and the hosts we very personable and accomodating.The rural surroundings, native birds, river etc jus make this place so unique and a really great place to stay.We are definitely coming back again with our family on future road trips! :)Highly recommend!

Stayed here 2 nights in a lodge room, bed and bathroom and used the lodge guest kitchen and lounge, suited our needs perfectly. Clean room also clean communal kitchen and lounge. Kitchen well stocked with all the necessities Beautiful, quiet peaceful spot. Really enjoyed the stay. Thank you!

Riverside Haven is truly a sanctuary for fun, family, and friends. Nestled alongside a warm, crystal clear, and slow moving river, this beautiful campground is a natural amusement park for people young and old. You can rest easy with a drink in your hand (or whatever you like) as your children make special, joyful memories as they explore this safe and friendly paradise. Whether you are bunking in the cozy lodge or camping out somewhere on the expansive and well kept grassy field, I have little doubt that you will find, as I have, a home away from home. If you are lucky enough, you might just get into the conversation with the wholesome, bright, kind, and caring camp owners. These two beautiful people have truly touched my life and warmed my heart. I am absolutely certain that if you choose to spend your time here, you will be going home rich with special memories and you will be eager for your next opportunity to stay at Riverside Haven.
