We have been staying at the Mount Dobson Motel for about 8 years now when we travel down for a ski trip. It's a great place to stay - clean, warm, comfortable and friendly owners!

For the price it was clean and tidy. It had everything that you would want in the kitchen. They could upgrade their tv's. The shower was super powerful. It was nicely situated just a short drive from fairle. The grounds were well looked after and it had lovely garden areas. I would recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable bed on the way to or from Tekapo.

Great place to stay, older rooms but very clean, tidy and spacious with everything we needed. Owner was lovely and friendly. Silverstream Hotel next door is a great place for dinner. We would happily stay here again.

Very nice motel! The owners are lovely and were available for communication through Airbnb. The motel rooms are very well kept and of a high quality. WiFi works fine and everything else that would be needed is provided! Would strongly recommend if needing to stop for a night in the area while road tripping.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was beautiful place on the way to Lake Takepo. The host was really nice and cooperative. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Great accomodation near lake Tekapo. The staff is really friendly and rooms are very good and clean and the bed really comfortable. There is also a small garden with benches where you can have your meal. Definitely a recommended stop!

Stayed one night at a family studio here. Located in Kimbell about 25 minutes far from Lake Tekapo. A bit old but very well maintained. Lovely host couple. Very clean, tidy and spacious room. Could see their efforts on every single item in the room to make guests satisfied. Would go back here. Definitely recommend.
