Interesting exhibits and shops in several of the buildings. The stories of the quake and renovation process are very interesting. Fun places to wander around and good cafe options as well.

Sad to see a scale down a bit.Atmosphere also less festive with fewer local tourists.Hope that the city cheer up a bit the next time we visit and not lost the charm.

Just been to see the Shift exhibition. Absolutely phenomenal. An excellent way to spend a couple of hours. Go see it while it's on.Shout out to the knowledgeable and friendly museum staff

Didn't have too long to explore and originally wouldn't have had bc half of the back all looked to be under renovation, but thanks to the nice toilets inside haha I got to have a peak around! Big old place for sure with lots of shops inside the front outside looks very nice at least too! So long and expansive
