Best of all, they have an online shop - I used this option to have a gift sent to a friend in the North Island!

Sue at Shelf is an absolute star! She is always super helpful with gift idea's on a tight budget.I have been into her shop on numerous occasions and she is always so patient with me (no matter how long I take to find that perfect gift)!With her living in walking distance to her shop she has been kind enough to open her shop on the odd occasion after hours, due to me living on the complete opposite side of town.A hidden gem with fantastic customer service!Thank you Sue x

SHELF is my ‘go to’ place for gift buying. I always find the perfect gift here for friends, (but usually end up leaving with a little something for myself too :) It’s a real ‘treasure box’ shop where all the shelves are bursting with beautiful things and often items I’ve never seen before in other stores. Their gift wrapping is just so gorgeous too! I try and make it a quick 5min pop-in visit… but if Sue is working, that never happens once we get chatting!

Shelf has become my “go to” for gifts and homewares since discovering it. There is always something to be found and many purchases from Shelf go overseas as gifts, they are so lovely. Sue is welcoming and always manages to locate the items I saw and then decided later on that I needed!
