Usually good and helpful.Fresh and nice staff.Your online says you close at 4.Come in at 10 to and you're packed up, fair enough.Previously I had gone in same sort of time & I'd been asked what I was wanting and the girl popped out the back and got it, even discounting it.Today your unfriendly staff member basically dismissed me.I asked is everything packed up.Reply, pretty much.Um ok. I thought you closed at 4.No reply.Dismissed!!!!

My first visit. Mainly looking for fresh mussels. Well it's Monday and they were selling mussels that came in Thursday at full retail. Quality of seafood didn't look very fresh. There were shrimps in seafood sauce that was transferred into containers. The containers were that big that it looked like 2 spoons of shrimp and sauce for $2.I wasn't impressed what they had in their shop

Good fish but worst customer service,we traveled from Hamilton as asked them clearly to clean the fish.They just quietly packed our ice box and handed over .Never coming back

Best out West for fresh fish, great variety as well. Nice and clean shop.They will clean, scale and gut your fish, if you wish. Also sell variety of fish fillets, smoked fish, mussels, or other shellfish when available. A wide selection of frozen seafoods etc, all reasonably priced.The staff are friendly, cheerful and obliging too.Great team!!

Best fish shop in the west! Very knowledgeable staff. always able to recommend sustainable substitutes. Get there early in the day so you don't miss out on the delicious seafood chowder,sold hot in a cup.

Always fresh fish. Very nice seafood salad. Seaweed salid is great as well. Check for the odd bone in the tarakihi before cooking.
