Grabbed the Royal Big Smoke with fries for lunch. Great burger, loved the buns and generous on pickles too! Chips were good although I realised they didn’t come with sauce, maybe I had to specifically ask for sauce? Will go again (and ask for sauce!)

Decent burger joint. Nothing special but good burgers.The burgers used to be amazing and the loaded fries were to die for. But a change in menu has somewhat reduced the quality. Not sure why they got rid of the tastiest menu items and even the tastiest ingredients in items that are still in the menu, probably to reduced cost.Burgers are very well prices though.Loaded fries this time was overpriced for what you get... and lacking, but only compared to before.I would still rate this as better than Maccas and BK, and burgers cost about the same. but after 2 recent visits (just to make sure the quality issue is consistent) we are deleting this place from our rotation.

Pretty good burgers (I had the King Ed chicken burger)Stopped here to get some grub while we were out for a walk.The service was quick but they only were taking cash orders as the credit service was malfunctioning.The chicken burger was crunchy and had a nice taste. The pineapple was pretty good and the flavor combination was overall good.Recommended for some quick bites.

Not 100% sold on it being a burger I'd want to keep revisiting, BUT I will definitely try another one day to make my final call and keep or upgrade my rating to 5. Opted for the smashed double patty with bbq sauce and fried onions because the best burgers I've been having in Auckland elsewhere had been truly smashed ones, yet this was more squished than smashed so it didn't have that same char taste I was hoping for. The bun I think was actually the most memorable aspect in an interesting way because it was soft yet dense, almost pretzel-like, and it didn't even rip or mush from all the sauce which was helpful. Also got their loaded REsauce, onion, and pickle fries were pretty decent but not going to get again - next time I'll try the fries again yet I'll get them plain (or maybe with Peri Peri seasoning) then get a dipping sauce instead. Atmosphere was also unique with neon graffiti and arcade games. Music was entertaining old school hip hop. Bathrooms super clean (but behind key code door that you need to ask for). ... Now if only they actually had some kind of cup to have just tap water because I didn't want to pay for bottled water.

Visited for the first time last weekend and had to go back yesterday for more. I had a different burger each visit and they did not disappoint. The burgers are juicy. Fries are crunchy on the outside and soft & fluffy inside. These guys aren’t greedy with their portions too. Defs worth the money.

Great burger, fries and all. This is one of my favorite place to grab a burger. I tryed 4 different burgers and all were great. Good price and good size. Nothing fancy but simple and tasty burgers.

My husband has wanted to try this burger place for ages. We came and were greeted by a young fella who was awesome. We travelled from Te Awamutu to try this. So glad we did. Man the burgers were made fresh with fresh ingredients. Spicy chips hell yes!!!! Its a defs yes from me and my hubby :)
