Mathematics school

My daughter's confidence and ability in maths has improved greatly since she began her tutoring with NumberWorks'nWords. When she was struggling with the subject we found it difficult to coach her at home as we did not use the same methods and terminology that she was learning at school, so it was a cause of frustration for us as parents as well as for her. We were concerned she was lagging at school and was reluctant to discuss the subject due to her sense of failure. Now she is consistently testing at the levels she should be for her age and is happy to talk to us about what she is learning.

Virat has been attending Abacus classes for over 10 months now and I have noticed that he has excelled in his math at school. He enjoys the in class and online sessions. This also helped with his reading. I recommend this to all parents wanting to support collaborative learning environment for their kids!! He had improved significantly in English Reading and Maths. When we first started sessions with Diana, my daughter had a really negative view of maths and was hugely lacking in confidence. Diana took such a kind, gentle approach and made sure sessions were really hands on and fun. Working with Diana has made a huge difference to my daughter's confidence and we've also seen a significant improvement in her achievement at school. I really can't recommend Diana highly enough for children who need that extra bit of support and confidence in maths.

Great additional learning -- we have been coming to NumberWorks'nWords Tauranga for a number of years now - my daughter lacked confidence in her classroom with Maths and needed some real help! She continues to enjoy going each week, it's a great way of learning and having fun along the way.

Diana is a wonderful teacher who has really helped my child grow in confidence and in her skills. Her maths exercises are fun and engaging and relate well to everyday life.

Good after school tuition. My daughter went for several months and really enjoyed it.The homework is good and my daughter found her maths and english improved along with her confidence.The only downside I found is a lack of flexibility. The child is expected to attend every week regardless, which, while fair enough and good for consistency, makes no provision for those in a shared custody situation where one parent stops taking the child during their time.There is no option to only take child on your weeks and Kip Mcgrath is not cheap, so I have had to cancel and look for a more flexible provider.
